Re: OS NBA Players Rating: Player #10 - Andrei Kirilenko
He is not at the Tim DUncan or KG level. He's not even close. He's not a go to guy. End of story.
THat being said, I'd trade him for anyone not named DUncan, Garnett, Bron, McGrady or Yao. What I'm saying to AK47 is: Come to Houston lol. Houston would automatically become the best defensive team in the league even if we had HOward as our powerforward. Best wing/guard defending team in the league with Yao in the middle. Okay im done dreaming.,Comment

Re: OS NBA Players Rating: Player #10 - Andrei Kirilenko
Great...I bet you saw that on sportscenter and couldn't wait to post it. A team loses 15 ppg's and its defensive heart, and they struggle...wow, brilliant observation. The Cavs lost 11 straight without Jeff McInnis after coming out of the All-Star break as the hottest team in the NBA last year, so I guess J-Mac is the very BEST PG in the league...Right? :y4:Originally posted by BranklesThe Jazz with Kirilenko:
8-5
The Jazz without Kirilenko:
3-12
Just a quick recap of the last month or so of Utah Jazz basketball.
Stats. For HMcCoy.
Holla
Silly boy, the fact that A.) Arroyo is playing like total trash, and B.) Boozer isn't a guy who can carry a team were never in doubt, son. No one said Kirilenko wasn't valuable or neccessary. He just isn't the top 5 player you make him out to be.
I guess you prolly missed the fact that they had lost 5 out of their last 7 BEFORE Kirilenko went down...The best explanation I've heard was from Coach Karl...he said that because the majority of NBA training camps are too soft, the first couple weeks of the season our usually mistake-prone and the fact that Jerry Sloan runs a brutal camp had the Jazz looking better than they really were. Who knows, they'll obviously be alot better than they are now when Kirilenko comes back...but he still isn't CLOSE to the best SF in the league.
Nice try, youngster.

They're just stats, don't get mad at me.
The stats didn't say that you have no idea what you're talking about, or that you lack basketball knowledge. They simply stated the record of the Jazz before and after Kirilenko was injured.
Don't shoot the messenger, oh undisputed king of basketball.
