They have the ability to trade for Butler and sign either Hayward or Griffin, not both. Hence the backslash lol

It is pretty good. Pretty good to keep the C's as the #1 seed in the East for years to come.

But once LeBron and Kyrie turn it on, that's just lunch meat for them.

Expect the Cleveland LeBrons to add a top player themselves. No way they stand pat after losing to a "super team".

It is pretty good. Pretty good to keep the C's as the #1 seed in the East for years to come.

Expect the Cleveland LeBrons to add a top player themselves. No way they stand pat after losing to a "super team".

How though? They're in cap hell. They'd have to deal Thompson and somehow bring in a star in the trade, they don't have picks to trade either. Does Melo really make them better?

I think Philly's #3 pick would be dealt to Chicago for Butler.

If I'm the C's, I keep the #1 and take Fultz. He has superstar potential. Especially with the future picks they still own, Fultz/Jaylen Brown has the beginnings of a very talented young core that can develop nicely on a talented squad.

Of course, that's assuming Butler is the target. Not a big fan of him as the centerpiece of a contender, too much of a ball stopper to me. If they can get Paul George (and reasonably expect him to resign), that's a different story.

So basically 76ers would get 1st Overall. Celtics get Jimmy Butler, future 76er 1st. Bulls get #3(Josh Jackson or Tatum) and Okafor.

That would be a loss for Bulls. I don't see any situation where Celtics(if they trade/sign a star wing) that they don't trade Crowder and/or Brown
