If they sign Capela to a max offer sheet either we match it (which I am not so certain we do) or we S & T for Jordan since he apparently wants to come to one of us Texas teams. Either which way I believe we are going to walk away with Capela (preferrably) or Jordan. Depending on the market for Cousins this will be a non-issue but this also depends on the market for Capela who will I don't think he is a max level guy, will still get paid at that level all things considered.
You want Capela and give him the max. Here's why.

Whether they sign Capela or Jordan, Houston will need a big to work that offense and with so much money tied up in Harden and Paul (it's happening) their flexibility is shot.

If they sign Jordan, they have to re-up him or risk having no replacement during Harden's prime.

So you make a choice. Capela is younger and will start his max this year. Jordan is older and would have to start his max next year after playing the last year of his contract.

              They are bringing back Capela.

A little late. They needed a Tony Allen that could shoot for about 4 years running and never made the change.

Seems like Ariza is repeating the mistake he made of misreading the market when he left the Lakers and was replaced by Artest.

I actually think they could find a taker for both, especially JR since he’s basically an expiring contract. The issue is that there aren’t enough teams with cap space around that would be willing to absorb guys and the Cavs would literally have to find suitors that can do that for damn near the entire roster. There’s no ****ing chance they sign anybody outside of the MLE.

Per ESPN article, Spurs and Lakers have engaged in talks on a Leonard trade.

The Lakers re-engaged the Spurs in pursuit of Kawhi Leonard. The Lakers envision a trade in which San Antonio would get something similar to what the Cavs received for Kyrie Irving or the Pacers acquired for Paul George. The Spurs value Leonard higher.

Originally it was said the Spurs closed the door on a trade with LA, but looks like because Leonard has made it known that one way or the other he intends to become a Laker other teams aren't offering suitable deals.

Article also highlights that the Spurs are in no rush to trade him though, and haven't engaged in any serious discussions with any team. I wonder if this is the smart strategy.

This is like damn near exactly how things played out last year with Paul George and ESPN was acting like he was all but a Laker and then all of a sudden, OKC.
