Smart. If you're losing AD you might as well blow it up. Wonder if Jrue's $26m annual contract is immovable.

If Jrue was available there would be a lot of teams lined up to try to get him. The hard part would probably be matching salary with players the Pel's would want in a rebuilding situation. However, if the Pel's could get rid of Hill for expiring's or young players, then they would basically start of 19-20 with a relatively clean slate.

Not that it matters because they won't be getting in FA's anyway but at least Demps overpays will be gone so he can start overpaying again.

Ive been in LA my entire life so I hear more than all of you guys, so its normal to see them scatter when they lose and come back like now when they think theyre going to do something.

Then there are the LeBron only fans who swap teams more than a pornstar, think i consider what they have to say.

This dude lebron came to the lakers nonchalant and plotted on his teammates.

Dude was gassing them up early in the year. He was all with the "if your brother fall pick him up" stuff even though he wasnt doing that

Just heard Pelicans are like trying to trade ever one now guess they are going all in on rebuilding. Time for lakers to get Randal back lol. But yeah never should have let him go. Interesting though if Randal does get traded has who ever gets him is getting a pretty darn good player.

So for the Lakers fans, which option would you prefer.

1.) Lakers keep everyone and for sure land a big fish this off-season. Kawhi, Klay, Jimmy, Kyrie, Kemba someone.

2.) They trade for AD now and use the extra money to fill out their roster with some decent players/vets but only retain a small portion of their young core.

Is that even a question? If one happends you have 2 all star/super stars and also still have the young guys and maybe one ends up being like a all star level player not to long from now to like create a big 3. With 2 you still have 2 all star/super stars but not much around them. There is kind of like a 3erd option that kind of goes with 2. Depending on what they give up if they get AD they could still have enough money to where maybe they cant get a 3 star to go with James and AD but could maybe build a deep team to go with the 2 stars.

I don't think that they "one year rental" is a real thing. It's all posturing, in my opinion. I just don't think the Lakers are going to wait around another year on AD. Especially, if they can add two max players or whatever (I'm not entirely sure if they're cap situation is). Not with 35 year-old LeBron James. Bron is in win now mode so Klutch is pulling out all the stops to force NOLA's hand.

Why not get some one this offseason to go with James and than next offseason go and get AD. Than you could have a big 3 and on top of that with the rest of this year and next year being over I think Kuz will be a all star by than. Now you got your self a big 4.

I would prefer to take a chance on a free agent this offseason. Honestly, wouldn't mind Boogie at all if he shows with GSW that he's fully healthy.

I like our young core & would like to see them develop & be something more going forward. I'm still against the DLo trade & don't like the way Randle was handled. Seems like we just let these young guys go well before their peak & never benefit from it.

Yeah we gave up on both Randle and Dlo way to fast and I think Kuz will be a allstar level player by this time next year and Boogie is looking great so far with GS why not just get him and stay with the young guys. If you get AD yeah 2 great players but you are going to have to lose some good young talent. If you just wait and get Boogie now you still have 2 great players but also dont have to lose like 2-3 good young players and draft pick or 2 or what ever.
