No i dont really think he'll be remembered as one the best players ever its either you love him or hate him with NBA fans there isnt really an inbetween. He'll get in the HOF eventually no doubt about it but theres others who arent in yet who deserve it more. His relationship with teammates and the fact that the 6ers could never find him a 2nd banana to play with (even though god knows they've tried) could hurt his status as one of the best ever and could make him wait awhile before hes in the HOF.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

Yeah, but he has matured over the last two seasons and I hope that overshadows his bad history with teammates.

LOL Iverson was mature last year?!?!

Same dude that took parts of the season off with injuries he could've played with?

Same person that refused to play because he wasn't starting? Yet Tim Duncan can come back from injury and come off the bench.

Ad he is not a point guard. His talent alone can get him by as being a nice PG, but not anything more.

All that being said, I been thought he could get to the Hall Of Fame. His numbers are too great to overlook.

What kind of answer is that? Benching yourself because you're pissy about not starting because the coach is looking out for you is not dedicating anything to the team.

Sitting out with injuries that he could obviously play through because he doesn't like the situation does not sound like being dedicated.

And? All that tells me is that he wasn't going to get the type of money he got from the Sixers anywhere else.
