As for the Clippers stuff, I’ll believe a player goes there when he actually goes there. They’ve never been a free agent destination, no matter the front office. They are the step-child team in that city and always have been. They got less coverage making the conference semis than the Lakers did drafting in the lottery lol..

Maybe Kawhi changes that, maybe it’s someone else and this is just the year it happens, but I’m not sold until it does.

It has been leaked Ballmer is paying out millions of dollars for the media to talk up the Clippers. Idk how much to believe it. But now there was “news” yesterday that Klay will look at them if he’s not offered the full max from GS... after he and his dad has said he’s staying, after it’s been reported GS will offer the max, after for the past however many years now it’s been said that Lakers are the only other team on he/his dads radar..

Idk about anyone else, but i'm stolked KD chose to become a free agent. Really don't wanna see him in GS again. He needs his own team now where he can create his own legacy.

I am happy also however we aren't out of the woods just yet. There is still a chance GS signs him to a 5 year max and they agree to trade him to whatever team he wants down the line and get more assets.

JR was known for his poor decision making well before that one play.

KCP isn't as good a shooter, but I think he's close enough that his defense tips things in KCP's favor. I imagine JR would be a cheaper option though, which depending on what the Lakers want to do this offseason, might be necessary.

JR the only guy you can't really complain about when his AI does silly stuff in 2k. That's just him lol.

How much is ESPN getting from LAC to try pushing the Kawhi to LA narrative?

They posted "hypothetical odds" on where he would land, with Clippers as betting faves by -110. This despite the other betting sites like Oddshark having Raptors at -225 and bet365 having it as -500 Raptors.

Zero. I think he returns to TOR but the interest in LAC has been out there for a while.

more rumors about rockets shopping Capela, Gordon and Tucker for 1st round picks so they can flip them to Philly in a sign and trade. They could get a 1st for Capela I guess, but I don't see them doing it for the others.

Does anyone believe a trio of Jimmy, CP3, and Harden pushes Rockets over the hump? Besides of whole locker room and chemistry thing, does that trio pushes them over other teams in West. They would have to give up their best 2 defenders and top bench scorer just to get him.

more rumors about rockets shopping Capela. Gordon and Tucker for 1st round picks so they can flip them to Philly in a sign and trade. They could get a 1st for Capela I guess, but I don't see them doing it for the others.

I wouldn't be so sure; Tucker and Gordon are both expiring contracts and also valuable contributors for contenders. I could definitely see each of those guys fetching protected first round picks.

I think Houston could get over the hump even without making this move with the Warriors significantly weaker now. Not sure I love the three of those guys together, but I understand Morey's rationale as well.

It’s honestly hard to say at this point after they landed Coby White. It’s no secret they weren’t happy with Dunn at point guard and were looking upgrade that spot. They were going to address the spot either thru the draft or free agency. Once they got the PG they wanted in the draft it’s hard to say that the plan is STILL to throw obscene money at somebody on the open market. Especially since they’re acting/saying their intention is to have Dunn and Coby competing for the spot. Bringing in Beverly/Brogdon/Russell/whoever seems like a log jam in the making unless they want a plethora of combo guards I guess.

I think they are worse off with him, I really don't understand what Houston is trying to do. If the idea is the only thing stopping them from a Finals appearance was Golden State then next season is definitely the year you run it back and take advantage of Golden State's injury issues. I have zero confidence Butler will make them better and quite frankly I feel like he's a terrible fit on most teams but I'm not a Butler fan in the least.
