Whoa, that's a huge move. Obviously he won't be guarding PGs but damn, he's really getting his Magic on, huh?

    PG- LeBron/Rondo
    SG- KCP/Bradley
    SF- Green/Kuz
    PF- AD/Dudley
    C- McGee/Boogie

I meant moreso how much money they have wrapped up in those 2 guys. I felt KCP was an overpay and Bradley was a rumored minimum guy. But we'll see, everyone was concerned about the Lakers depth, yet here we are they have very good depth.

All I know is there was a lot of people who were wrong and a lot of spinning that was done this offseason. Not that this is anything new BTW, but I know this year in particular, I’ve been enjoying it.
Most of the people reporting are useless but I was surprised at how right they all ended up being. Wanting to play in NY, the possibility of leaving GS, they saw all of it. AD's list was the clue I kept coming back to.

With AD starting at the four, the trick in many games is going to be finding a place for LeBron to rest on defense for most of the game.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Don't you worry, he'll take plays off on defense regardless.

The hilarity in all of this LeBron ball stuff is how he made claims of wanting to play off the ball.

A year later he's their "official point guard"

Ouch. That's a Lebron or AD injury away from being a lottery team... especially, in the West.

I think it'll be a lot like when Giannis was Milwaukee's "official" PG tbh...which was Kidd's idea....ya'll may be right about the schemin', lol

Nah im not killin Bron lol....but theyre putting this out like dude doesn't already control the ball all the time.

It's weird like people didn't watch the guy play all of these years.

Yeah, that's why it reminds me of the Giannis experiment...it was pretty much what he was already doing....

Did YOU think it was always Nets since this whole thing started a year ago? I’ve always said(got receipts on here too)that we should be considered just as serious as the Knicks were.

And I’ve also asked why would people think he would go from the best team in the league to one of the worst ran organizations in the NBA? And the only answer that came up was “Well, it’s the Knicks and they’re the Nets”.

I said it in another thread a couple days ago even before they signed Cousins or Bradley that I expected most of his offensive possessions to be as a point guard.

Truth is, asides from a couple years in Miami where ball handling was shared between guys like Cole, Chalmers, Wade and also Bron, he’s been the primary ball handler since his second season in the league. It’s the versatility of having him face up bringing the ball up in one possession then having him post up the next to having him cut to the corner the next that has gotten him this far.

We all know LeBron effectively plays PG but labeling him as the official PG is important because then we don't have to wonder/debate about whether it's gonna be Rondo/Caruso/Cook starting at PG. That was gonna be the weakest position in the starting lineup and now it's the strongest. If anything this is a nice way to tell Rondo he won't start, which is good because that second unit needed a playmaker and now they have one in Rondo. This also allows them more defensive versatility and to play bigger. Solid move.
