Cris Carter says there will be no Kawhi decision today either. Says he will meet with the Clips/Lakers today and tomorrow and then Toronto after. *eye roll* I really hope he's wrong, this market is drying up fast

Why are we listening to Cris Carter again? We’re talking about football player Cris Carter right?

With the lottery the way it is a full on tank like last year doesn't make a lot of sense. They'll be bad next year but i think we want to see improvement
Oh for sure brother, for sure. Realistically this team as constructed is going to be pretty bad, I just want to see them take some risks and get some of those young guys off the bargain bin and see if they can turn nothing into something. I'm hoping that they leave enough roster spots open for the summer league and take some chances their. If you're going to be not good, might as well try out some of these young raw prospects imo. Kind of like what happened with Mitchell.

Cris Carter and Kawhi used go share an agent and they allegedly have some kind of relationship....but he could obviously be pulling a Screamin A. and exaggerating the extent of that..

I might be the only one, but I actually like the Knicks young pieces. I think all of DSJ, Knox, Trier, Robinson can/will be good players in the league, and I still think RJ has a good shot at being the best player from this class. Obviously these signing aren't game changers, but the Portis and Randle signings are both big moves IMO, and the others aren't long enough to hurt them.

They'll be in play for a super max again in a couple seasons, possibly with RJ and Randle looking like an All-Star duo to join.

I'm guessing we see 3+ 3PA per 36 minutes from him next year.

I'm not trolling or being sarcastic when I say that I'm going to be rooting for the Knicks to do well. They have all the complementary pieces of a really good team. They of course just don't have the Superstar as the centerpiece.

Not having a really good Point Guard to lead them is what will cause them to struggle to get wins more than anything. If they had a player like Rubio instead of Smith they would be less exciting, but will win more, IMO

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

It's not "apparently" it's just hypothetical talk.

Free agent guard Ish Smith has agreed to a two-year, $12M deal with the Washington Wizards, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

I think if this young core was on any other team people would be raving about their bright future. Unfortunately the perils of being on a big market team bring about expectations. The fact that the Knicks were even in a position to sign superstars on max deals is a big win.

If that's the cause... They might have chained themselves to him. Because who wants to trade for him. That's dumb if that's the case. Like why would the Lakers trade for him now? Lose Asset for a player I could of signed. I'm shocked KD gave the option for a sign and trade. Because he didn't give that option to the Thunder. He just left lol.
