How’s your teams FA going so far?

Knicks’ plan coming to fruition or did that get pushed to a few years from now?

Knicks have 7 picks over the next 2 drafts. People can laugh and **** all over the front office but I think they made the right call by not going in on Kyrie and KD.

Honesltly it may not be the dream team Knicks fans were thinking of, but they are putting together a nice squad of competitive guys.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Perry and Mills said the plan was to build slowly through the draft without skipping steps so pretty much.

Y’all let that man enjoy his first free agency

His bday was the day before

Yesterday was full of excitement. Wondering if some of those contracts are bad though

I’m just glad first round draft picks weren’t traded for Andrea Bargnani equivalents, which is what happened not too long ago.

Compared to across the team across the East River, not as flashy as a team the Knicks are putting together, but they’re strategically building a team.

Just now getting out of the mess that Phil Jackson but the franchise in.

I can also say that if it was the Knicks that did land KD, the media would be saying it’s a short-sighted, high risk move.

This team could sneak into the 8th seed.

I think the Knicks are making all the right moves honestly. Sure they likely wanted the KD+Kyrie duo, but not overspending on long contracts for mediocre players once they missed on those guys was the way to go here. Lots of good youth, lots of future picks, max cap space coming again to them soon.. I think they are making the right moves for once. Their timeline might even be post-Bron, and lots of other stars showing age.. Might finally build a contended in NY for the first time in forever.

That said, the Nets obviously hit a ****ing grand slam. Everything they've done the past couple of years now has been picture perfect. At full strength they should be as good, if not better, than anyone out East and all they lost for Kyrie, KD, Jordan was DLo and Carroll. Solid step in the right direction for them, and still have other solid pieces around those 3 guys as well.

DSJ, Knox, Barrett, Frank, and Robinson are all U21 if I’m not mistaken.

Yep. If these short contract guys can show value they might be able to sell high on them, realistically too next year they might be able to do what the Nets did and get a few guys as salary dumps for some assets. Hopefully RJ is more Harden/Kobe and less Wiggins.

Sidenote, I don't think many people have noticed but San Antonio will have only 4 million dollars in contracts committed in the 2021 off season. I see you 24th 👁️.
