I guess the rumors were true?

During deadline before Gasol deal, it was rumored we could see Lowry to Jazz, Rubio to Grizzlies, Conley to Raptors.

In the end we did see a Grizzlies-Jazz deal for Conley.

In hindsight, obviously good that Raptors didn't do it

Well our initial offer to Memphis during the season was Exum, Allen, then either Rubio or Favors, and two 1sts

Glad we look to be keeping Favors, he's so underrated and I think he'll play next to Gobert a little more now that Rubio will be leaving.

In all seriousness though I think Allen can be a starter on a good team once he figures it out.

Man, Allen is the only player that is even appealing in that package for a rebuilding team.. And even then you swap an All-Star level guard for a guy who spent a good chunk of the season in the G-League.. Late round pick.. smh

They needed to clear space, and obviously taking Ja with their pick, but surely to god there were better options.

Definitely a good pick up for Utah though.. and Conley doesn't give a **** who's getting the shots and touches, he just goes out and does his job.

I like it for Memphis. They’re getting two expirings, a young shooter on his rookie deal and a pick. Not bad.

They just freed up $30M in cap space over the next two years, with a young nucleus in Jackson and Morant. To get off Parsons contract is the real challenge.

Like I'm sitting here dumbfounded. Chicago desperately wants a point guard and they wanted Conley at one point I recall and yet they let THAT package get it done?
