Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
I’m in the minority but I would get Boogie + better supporting cast (Seth Curry, Ariza etc) & call it a day. No need to waste time trying to go after KD, Klay etc.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
I mean they have expectations to at least try. With those ticket prices they cant say we didn't even try.
It might end up something more marginal but theyre going to give it a shot.
I just dont know if players care, if they have confidence in ownership right now or not themselves.
One thing for sure, Players and media are definitely not on the same page when it comes to how things are percieved.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
The trying part with those type of guys sucks because they don't sign till the end. You end up waiting on all these guys and in the short term miss out on cheap bargain players. You have to eventually look in the mirror and say no top tier star is coming this year & plan accordingly tbh.Comment

Just haven't heard any pursuits beyond Davis and Kawhi
If that's where their eggs all lie then you might very well end up disappointed

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Ehh I think any "big name" player that wants to sign there will know well before they have to take up the whole free-agency period and ruin chances at signing cheaper guys..
I'd go after Kawhi/Klay, explore the AD trade, give some consideration to Jimmy/Kyire, then look at other guys.. That would be my order given what's currently on the team and who fits with them best.Comment

I'd be really surprised if a big name wasn't brought in this off-season.Comment

Well I mean Vogel had some limited success. Not his fault he had Roy Hibbert talent drained by the Monstars on his team during his conference finals trip

Hollins had some really good years with Memphis too. Few coach of the month awards along the way. Got a lot out of those groups. Made the conference finals also.
