Michael Porter Jr. has apparently developed drop foot while recovering from his back injury:

I think what we have learned is a lot of teams wang Brogden and wouldn’t surprise me if he gets 20 million or so a year

Brogdon is the obvious one to re-sign IMO. I highly doubt that we really **** around to have cap flexibility, but if we do, Brogdon is the one keeper due to his current cap hold; can theoretically create significant cap space to make a move and then go over the cap to re-sign Brogdon. That isn't really the case with any of our other free agents.

Having said that, I would guess that we do our best to bring everyone back, probably losing at minimum George Hill and one of Brook/Mirotic in the process.

So you would be ok paying Middleton 25 per, Brogdon 17 per and Lopez 10 per ?

I'm sure this probably has no way of happening, but what would it take for Bradley Beal to go to the Bucks? I want my man to succeed and he ain't getting that in DC.

It would have to be some kind of sign and trade which I am not sure if that's even possible .

The bucks have 0 draft picks coming in and have the following picks leaving

                2019 2nd to kings
2019 2nd to Pelicans (Denver pick)
                2020 1st to suns (Bledsoe)
                2020 2nd to Pelicans
2020 2nd to Pelicans (Washington pick)
                2021 2nd to Pacers
2021 2nd to Pelicans (Washington pick)
                2022 1st to Cavs

Pretty easily, yes, but I think Middleton and Brogdon likely cost more than that and think Lopez probably gets priced out of Milwaukee due to bringing those other two back.

If I had to guess right now, Milwaukee's hopes for the offseason would be:

                  Plan A:
Get one of the big names (Durant, Kawhi, Klay) to commit to signing, letting Middleton, Lopez, George Hill and Mirotic walk in the process and finding a taker for Snell and/or Ilyasova to clear out cap space to sign one of them + bring Brogdon back.

                  Plan B:
Basically bring the team back: potentially still move Ilyasova and/or Snell for tax relief. Sign Middleton and Brogdon to big extensions, get George Hill to come back on a vet minimum deal, and then either sign Mirotic with bird rights or try to carve out enough space to re-sign Brook.

                  Plan C:
Middleton takes a max from someone else. Bucks either let Hill walk or sign him cheap. From there, Milwaukee has cap space to play with; they could let both Mirotic and Brook walk and have roughly $30 million to spend on free agents, or they could simply sign those two and maybe one other role player if they're lucky.

I think basically rolling it back is probably the best realistic move for the offseason which is sort of a bummer, but if forced to prioritize, I would say Brogdon is the #1 priority and then it's a toss-up between Mirotic and Middleton IMO (simply because I expect Mirotic to be significantly cheaper than Middleton).

It shouldn't be THAT much of a bummer, though. Giannis needs to keep metamorphing and pick up post moves and be a reasonable threat from mid-range. Until that happens the rest of the team will need to step up in the playoffs. I don't see the East getting that crazy this off-season to jumble up the top teams. Bucks are looking pretty good right now and will look even better if/when Kawhi leaves.

The bummer is that the best realistic outcome is probably that the team gets worse since we almost certainly lose Hill and or Lopez and or Mirotic. Obviously the other guys can improve but depth will be more difficult next season and we might be down at least one if not two starters.

Who wants a fat injury plagued declining PG that will be due $124 mil over the next 3yrs????

My Wiz already have one for its worth.

Per Candance Buckner: Zero indication that Leonsis has reached out to new candidates

This also comes after rumors from yesterday regarding Massai being interested, but its the Wizards so we'll probably end up with an intern.

They could actually probably upgrade their team by trading Harden. Someone would throw the whole farm out to get him. Nobody is trading for that CP3 contract lol.
