IDK, Boston is at a huge cross roads. If they lose Kyrie, I think they should look towards a quick reloading for 2020.
I think they make a run at AD regardless. But I will lose my mind if they give Rozier any type of big money. Just roll with the Jays and hope Hayward is back and roll with that. They probably lose any hope of contender status if Kyrie leaves but i think they still have options.

I still think % of him coming back is greater than what people think.

      In Houston

      The owner extends Mike D'Antoni

Daryl Morey wasn't fully on board so he fired the assistant defensive coach under Bzdelik, then the rest of the staff too

I heard Harden and CP3 got into it a little bit after being eliminated. You hear anything on that?

Free Agency will now begin at 6pm EST on June 30 instead of the usual 12:01am start.

          About time.

I lowkey like Portland doubling down on what they have. I understand the argument for breaking it up. I really do. But, why? Its not like trading CJ is gonna net you an all NBA player anyway. It would probably be a lateral move, if anything.

Dame and CJ are in their prime and their game fits the current NBA well. At worst they are a playoff team in the West. They're a team good enough that if they were able to grab another allstar like Boogie on the cheap or a DeAndre Jordan they'd be a problem.

Portland isn't any further back IMO than any of the other teams chasing GS like Houston, Denver, Utah. If KD leaves, they are a bit closer.

They need to tweak the roster, but I think they are better off holding what they have. If you can package CJ and get back and AD or Kawhi like Toronto, sure. I'd take that gamble. Otherwise, I'd just wait out GS run with a really good playoff team. I remember just last year there was Dame to LA to team up with LeBron rumors. Dame is fully vested with this squad and city, why recklessly break it up? Am I crazy or something?

These post series questions....that's the best you guys got? You expecting Kawhi to be like "IM THE BEST!"?

Lol, media guy asking Kyle what's the difference from this team vs past. Kyle just looks at Kawhi.

Id be looking longer term. What needs to happen to get Giannis to stay. And if he leaves, is your team crippled with other deals?

The Snell contract throws Milwaukee into a little bit of a loop.

You need to keep a scorer around Giannis so I would have a hard time not paying Middleton. That probably leads to not paying Brogdon but hopefully you can get a Connaughton or DiVincenzo to step up.

I think even if it doesnt work in terms of getting to the Finals next year, I still think Middleton would be tradeable. I don’t see Bledsoe extension as tradeable though.

I don’t see the point to paying Mirotic if you think DJ Wilson can continue to develop.

Bucks need to learn from Raptors. Back to back 1st round exits, then made conference finals and lost in 6(sound familiar?). However, next 2 playoffs Raptors got stuck in that Lebronto trap.

Next season should be all about playoffs. Know team identity from start, fix weaknesses by deadline. If they can move Snells contract great, if not, make him a deadly 3pt shooter off bench.

                        Re: 2019 Offseason Thread

I put this in the ECF thread, so, here's my thoughts for the Bucks.

The Bucks owners already have said they will pay the luxury tax. In a few years, Giannis will be making a boatload of money because of his back to back 1st team all NBA team.

I wouldn't pay Middleton max money and I would resign Brogdon easily.

I agree about Snell's contract, kind of hamstring us, I know before he sprained his ankle, he developed a inside game this year, and he used to be our best defender.

At first, I wanted 3Kola to be resigned, but he was a ghost most of the Toronto series, and Bud not giving minutes in the last game is telling.

                        I'd like Lopez to resign.

Giannis, develop a midrange and 3 pts game and practice free throws all year long after some rest.

I trust Horst to figure what's best for the offseason. He's been a lot better in his short tenure than Hammond over the long run.

Bulls are going to give the Bucks a nice decision to make. Word is that Brogdon is on their radar and they’ve got enough cap space to make a sizable offer to Brogdon that’ll make the Bucks question whether to match or not.

Dang, King, a team is successful and the Bulls start fleecing the Bucks. First Jabari, now Brogdon?lol

I hope the Bucks owners are true to their word because I could see salary cap hell arriving.

No official rumors but I could also see Atlanta throwing 15 million + at Brogdon also he makes a lot of sense with his shooting and age

And defense, the only liability the last few years has been court time, he's had a few injuries.
