For real? Idk it’s a horrible contract but only 3 years.. I think the Bulls young guys would show tremendous growth next to CP3.. one of the only situations in the league where it makes sense IMO. Would be huge for Lauri IMO.

Paul's body is breaking down man. I'm good on paying that man $40 mil a year for the next 3 years to wear a suit while he's clearly regressing as well.

Chris Paul doesn't fit anywhere in the league but Houston at this point because their *******es paid him. He's too old and was too good (legacy) not to play for a contender at this point but at the same time no contender can justify paying him all that money while he's sharply declining.

Really, I can't think of any team that's near contending or is contending that could justify paying him the rest of that contract. I think if he wants to get on a contender at this stage in his career, he needs to be traded to a team that's not contending that can absorb his contract and then buy him out ala Melo being bought out by ATL. Under that scenario, then he makes plenty of sense for many contending teams.

The icon jersey could do with more white but I think the association uni is an improvement. The throwback is nice too.

Sources now confirming the Lakers understood the timing of the trade and cap situation. Timing of the trade was agreed upon in case of the 4th pick being moved again, see Atlanta. And the Lakers are expected to be fully aware of if they believe a top free agent is signing with them by the 6th. If that’s the case they will work to rework the deal or make another move to open additional cap space.

But Woj doesn’t have an agenda, right? Ramona wrong too. No accountability for this BS “journalism”. Pelinka owed an apology by many

So when the reports say what you want them to say then you can believe "sources said" otherwise it's crap. Cool story

No it’s calling out obvious bull**** “journalism”. Some of y’all take Woj’s bull**** as gospel that you’ll believe anything he says. All week Woj led the charge of trying to paint Pelinka as an idiot who doesn’t understand the CBA. Then the truth came out and he unapologetically backtracks.

It should be obvious by now that Woj can truthfully report confirmed transactions but anything else is agenda-driven and not always factual.

King and I have a unique relationship. Every once in a while, one of us will say something that will trigger the other. This was one of those instances.

Cima, it's been going on for a while man, and its not exclusive to Pelinka or the Lakers.....you'll drive yourself crazy tracking inaccuracies in every report...you just have to take it for what it is and move on...

                              You're right. Let's switch gears.

Let's talk about last night and how much of a mess it was with all these dudes wearing the wrong hats and the teams not being allowed to talk about the players they drafted because it's technically "tampering". What a ****ing joke, right?

This is one of the few things the NFL does right over the NBA and Silver needs to take a long hard look at things. Free Agency should be first before the draft IMO. That way trades can just be executed right away instead of having all these guys that just got drafted like DeAndre Hunter being a Laker until he can "legally" be traded. It's so dumb.

Even if they have to push back the draft for 2 weeks to a month. It is frustrating seeing all these players wearing the orignal team's hats. Felt like you needed to be on social to keep up with the trades. Especially on the ones where pick changed hands twice. They defintiely need to update the picks on tv.

I always felt the draft came to soon after the finals anyway. Push it back to the 2nd or 3rd week of July. By then the first wave of Free agents are signed. Plus I could see teams approaching the draft differenly if it is after start of FA. A lot of these picks would be different. A lot of teams draft for need. If they are able to sign FA first, then they would draft for Best Fit Available
