Steve Nash had mastered that so well. I miss all of his insane release points on those.

I dont care what anyone says. That Harden step back is as close to an unguardable move that there is.
If you are playing him to take it away, you are giving up so much. And if you try to play it straight up, you just gotta hope he misses on most of those. It's too difficult to get a solid contest that throws him off without fouling.Comment

This line up had matched up really well with this current line up of rivers, shump, Harden, tucker, and Gordon

I think my biggest issue with how teams defend him overall is that he’s a good shooter than you can’t leave open, but he’s not such a dominant shooter that you need to over play every shot and send him to the line for 3 free throws so often. Just get a hand up and make him hit them. Most games that happens he ends up taking too many and missing enough that it doesn’t justify the shot selection. He has the occasional game where he sinks them all and nearly beats you himself, but over a 7 game series he isn’t replicating that 4 times.

Re: 2019 Western Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
I mean you call it bs, but that's the rules. Most the calls he gets on the stepback 3 are defenders taking away his landing space. As a defender, you can't do that or you'll get a foul called on you. If anything, Harden is a master of using the rules to his advantage.Comment

The fouls he has gotten tonight have been good calls but most the time no just no he gets calls that no other players in the league get. The fact that a guy who shoots basically nothing but Jump shoots leads the league in FTA and by a lot is a joke. He gets like 3-4 FTA a game that no one else in the league would get the calls on. Its why I cant stand him he is like a 44% FG shooter and if he didn't get the bs calls it would be more like 39% and less scoring.Comment
