Yeah I can’t think of anything really comparable. Noel and Sprewell have to be the closest.

Never bought that $150 Mil talk but considering what he was supposedly offered from LA earlier this year…that’s one helluva drop.

I’m sure he’ll be good either way though.

Dennis seems to be a cancer at this point. I know he's young. But he's have a problem of finding the balance between scoring and passing. He's seems to want to score more than pass. And his defense isn't all that to shout out about. But I have a hard time seeing him fit in with this Celtics team. I could be wrong. But I think a passing first PG would do wonders for them.

That's why you need someone who is honest with you in your circle. He thought more of himself than what he was worth. Playing with Bron and AD, there was little he could have done where could earn himself a $30M per year contract anyway. I get betting on yourself. But, you need to be realistic of the type of player you are and what your value is around the league. Players see others getting big money and want the same bag.

Like with Noel, I think he turned down a 4 year $70M deal. That was right around the shift of the "modern" big preference. So, that would've been as much as he would've gotten. Unless, he was expecting a Whiteside type deal. Whiteside was putting up big empty stats.

It's more than just a fumble, it's more like he tripped and dropped it into the fires of Mount Doom in Mordor.

Seems like an Ian Desmond situation. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Now we get to see him chasing that old money for the rest of his career.

I’m assuming he also likely turned down the same deal from LAL too as this is the same money that went to Nunn. Not sure his thought process there, maybe he wanted out or maybe the Lakers didn’t even offer it to him, but I feel like showing out in that 6th man role with the Lakers this year (especially if they win it all or get to the finals) likely raises his value after next season more than whatever he’s about to do with Boston.

Maybe his presence as another scorer to supplement Tatum and Brown will keep Jayson from throwing up the worlds most difficult shot 4-5 times a night.

Speaking of the Lakers, they still have 3 roster spots open. Kinda shocked those spots weren’t Wes, Morris, Dudley to be honest. Still going to assume Dudley fills out that Haslem spot for 15th man on the team. I’m assuming they keep at least 1 of those open for the buyout market this year.

absolute bargain. I'm not that biggest fan of his but he's a good player and at the price how can you hate it. He's also a good defender as well. Boston might've lost some explosiveness this offseason but their bench is already looking worlds better than last year. still need one of Nesmith/Romeo to be solid which i think will happen but not bad at all.

After the Kanter signing i was down bad but they are back.
