      Re: 2021 Offseason Thread

The 2021-22 offseason will have its fair share of player movement and trades. There will also be a lot of players looking to extend their current deals. Here is a list of every extension-eligible player this offseason, the maximum amounts they can get, and the probability…

Excellent breakdown of all extension-eligible players this offseason and the max contract they can be extended and whether it makes sense.

Reading this I remembered KD saying something about him not playing past 35. Wonder if that still holds true.

KD has no life outside of bball and arguing on Twitter, no way he retires at 35

The game is so easy for him and you can tell he genuinely loves to ball. No way he hangs them up early barring an injury.

35 seems old until you actually get there. Doubt he calls it quits any time soon.

Wizards do that and Beal might as well cave in and put the pressure on the front office to move him.

Schroeder would be a decent fit on this Wizards team but of course there would be the issue of cost, which he would not be worth it(especially when you go from Wall to Westbrook and now possibly more years/money with Schroeder as far as contracts go).

I feel like they’d be better off with Westbrook on this roster.

Yeah...I think I'd rather just ride out the last year or two of Westbrook's contract (he has an option after next season ends) than lock myself into a long-term deal with Schroder. If it were structured as like a 1 year deal for Schroder, sure. But like you said, making this kind of trade likely necessitates a Beal trade and I don't think Washington wants to do that.

If I'm a fringe team then I'm starting to look at tanking with the Emoni Bates and DJ Wagners of the world coming up soon especially if the rule gets reverted back to let HS players declare for the draft.

I am pretty sure sign and trades have to be 3 years in length

Crazy Offseason Prediction: CP3 opts out and rejoins the Clippers on a smaller deal to chase a ring.
