Who would be the best fit for the Sixers if they could trade Ben?
I would love Lillard, but no that is a pipedream. I'm for adding Maxey and Multiple 1sts. I would like to keep Thybulle though.

I think they like DLO in Minny. If I remember right they had wanted him for years.

Oddly enough Ben would be a really good fit in Atlanta with his defense

That’s good for fans who are sick of the same teams winning, but we know NBA fans like drama and villains. You think these series are going to have better ratings than if more popular teams made it? Does the league care that new teams have a shot at winning?

Ben Simmons on the Cavs would be a playoff team.

Yeah depends what he means with it being great for the league. Because pretty sure revenue and audience wise it's not great at all.

Theses playoffs have been very entertaining though.

I mean really Ben Simmons could be a great comeback story one day. He's good at alot of things. But this off-season he's gotta go all in on developing a jumpshot and get his confidence back.

He has a serious mental block to get over. He passed up a layup. He ain't right mentally right now.

And please Ben stay away from social media. For the love of God. It's gonna be brutal.

Well we’ve spent about 2 to 4 decades of brainwashing people into thinking everything is trash unless it’s the Lakers or Celtics or LeBron so sure the ratings will probably take a hit. But the NBA isn’t going to ever lose any money on their tv contracts and Laker/Celtic/Knick fans aren’t going any damn where as usual but if more people in places like Atlanta, Phoenix, Milwaukee, etc are watching and getting involved because their teams actually have a legit chance at titles you can’t sit here and tell me it’s bad for the league or somehow not good because the same old teams aren’t involved

What’s he gonna do..stand in the corners?

I’d trade Ben to the Pelicans.

Have him throw lobs to Zion all game.

Ben for Ingram straight up. There we go. Perfect.

What you’re saying about getting more Hawks and Bucks fans, that same thing applies with Knicks and Lakers fans just at a higher magnitude. Everyone that likes the Knicks/Lakers isn’t watching every game. But yeah, I’ll just disagree that this is great for the league in any meaningful way.

I'm wondering who the 76ers even get at this point at one point could've gotten Harden... now CJ? but that's less of a guarantee. They'll still probably get something positive because he's still young and an elite defender but you have to have the perfect roster construction around him.

But knowing the people that cover it and hold weight, they’re gonna treat this like the worst outcome because there’s no LeBron, KD, Harden, Philly, Knicks, Celtics or Warriors remaining.
for ratings it could be a negative but as a fan why do people care about these things? for longterm growth it's amazing though.
