Embiid is out tonight against Miami. I figured that would be the case after a 8:30 start last night and him looking exhausted. I rather had him rest last night instead. But, I'm fully with prioritizing health or seeding.

I'm hoping Doc gives Bassey minutes at the Center. He's been great in G-League. But knowing Doc it'll be DJ starting and Millsap being the primary backup

Harden also out as well

P-Will back tonight. I'm excited to have him back. Hopefully we can avoid any other setbacks and see this kid get back to developing. He's one of the most intriguing pieces in the NBA to see what he can become.

The Lonzo thing is really killing my vibe though. We really need him back. Pat helps a ton, but the tandem of Ball and Caruso unlocks this team's defense and the numbers since they've been gone show it.

DJ hasn’t been hot like he has tonight but I feel like he’s made “some” difference ever since joining the team. Just a dynamic they didn’t have (they’re basically missing all dynamics lol) but it also makes it depressing to see that knowing they were supposed to have Nunn all year, and supposedly Schroder was also willing to stay on that same deal they have him too. Maybe small additions in a general sense but I get the vibe that either would have been a huge addition on a team that basically needs everything.

Same goes for Gabriel. Imagine them giving any of the Bazemore, Ariza, DJ, AB, contract spots to a guy like Gabriel (but presumably better) in the off-season. Perhaps even the Nunn deal. Or even kept Morris. Such a disastrous off-season.

Props to the shorthanded Sixers making this a game heading into the 4th. I thought when Heat went on that 10-0 run, they might pull away. Even if they lose, if they can keep it competitive, that's a positive sign especially with Tobias not giving us much tonight

Yes, it is another clear example of how catastrophically poorly this roster was constructed in the summer. This season is a lost cause, but maybe hard lessons have been learned and the ship can be righted for next year.

Impressive Win without Joel and Harden. Maxey was possessed. For Furkan and Shake to combine for 38 points off the bench and them being out of rotation before this game, is impressive. If we can get even half of that, that's what we need off the bench. They just have to find a way to work alongside either Joel or Harden. Still wish Reed or Bassey played, but good win
