NBA considering going back to East vs West ASG.

I don't mind the draft format, just have diff people as the ones making the picks instead of turning into an annual "Team LeBron vs"

What if they mixed it up. The lowest voted starter of the starting 5 in each conference becomes the team captain? You now have a chip on your shoulder as a guy who just cracked the starting lineup.

I saw Adam Silvers interview on First Take today and I like a lot of what I heard. I did like the captains pick thing but now I'd like to see the traditional East vs West format return. I'd also like to see the Allstar game uniforms return to more of the 90s/2000s look that had more personality.

It would be crazy if Terance Mann is the hold up lol. If Morey is willing to accept that One pick, one swap, which has been reported that Clippers would be okay with, Mann be the hold up is ridiculous. Lue was reported saying Mann, Batum, and Covington are competing for the 4 spot. Mann is a good role player, but he shouldn't be a sticking point. It's one thing when Maxey was a sticking point for trades, when he has upside. Mann is someone Sixers will flip for more assets

People hated that in MLB even though it did add some meaning.

Probably has more meaning in the NBA because you're more likely to have guys who have realistic shots to make the finals compared to MLB where you're basically having representatives from around the league.

The Sixers City Uniforms might have leaked. Ehh, ok. It's the same color scheme as the Spectrum unis from a couple of years ago. Not terrible, but nothing I would consider buying either

Good. Once Step and LeBron retire it was going to be harder to find guys who want to be team captain and draft teams every single year. And it really didn't add much interest.

Having LeBron do it every year made it less exciting. KD being the opposing guy doing it and seemingly having no interest in doing it also hurt. Then 3 of the last 5 being LeBron vs Giannis. Only good moment to really come from that was Giannis trying to pick Ja as a starter when he wasn't even on the board (and "drunk" Charles Barley).

The Pistons originally had a sleeveless version of that jersey and I actually kinda liked it.

Yeah, whoever is designing these uniforms are running out of ideas. They either go super generic or super safe. Those jerseys aren't bad, but they went safe there.
For me, they should have done the Blue Iverson era jerseys or do a White Spectrums Jerseys(2021).
