Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
Why do the Clippers and Hawks feel the need to 'rebrand' every few years? I know I harp on it whenever it happens, but it's one the reasons that neither has a clear 'identity,' IMO.
I do like that they removed black from their third jersey and color scheme.

Y'all see this dunk? That would have been really cool. Make me wonder how many dunks don't make we don't see

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
Yeah, I knew that I was forgetting a team when I wrote that post.
Seems like those 3 teams switch up their look every 4 or 5 years. Meanwhile, Spurs, Knicks, Trail Blazers, and (especially) Celtics make minimal changes.
Funnily enough the team that actually needs a refresh and better look are the Timberwolves. Followed by the Thunder - although, like the Clipper current look it's grown on me - and Jazz, IMO.

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
Yeah it's still very shocking here advanced. The entire Dwayne Wade thing from years ago was one thing. But Brown advancing on a terribly executed dunk smells badHands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

But one of many reasons the judges shouldn't score until they see the replay.Comment

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
They like the Clippers name, but what if they rebranded to the California Clippers instead?
Why live in the "LA shadow" when you could just call yourself the California Clippers? Sure, we have Golden State already, but that's just a nickname anyways.
Instead of just being LA team #2, that at least makes you feel somewhat different.Comment

I've seen people say the inverse.
