Everyone forgets this. I barely remember him playing for the Bulls

But in order to qualify, you must be most known for a specific colour, and those colours being one you primarily wore.

So Shaq would be purple/yellow even though he had red/black for the Heat, because he's more known for the Lakers.

LeBron would be red/black (though I'd lean more to just red since he had that for Cavs and Heat, while black for Heat was an alternate jersey)

Similarly with Jordan, I'd just go red for him since that was the primary colour for the Bulls and he wore that way more than black.

Black wasn’t the Heat’s alternate Jersey. The blacks are their primary road unis and red their alternates.

Not sure how a new one would do in this day.
I don't think Hoop Dreams is the type of film conducive to a sequel. The original was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of project with over 250 hours of footage captured over five years. If it's going to be an update on Agee and Gates then that's cool, but that'll feel more like an episode of E:60 or something.

Since I realize I sound a little cynical, let it be said that I think Hoop Dreams is one of the greatest documentaries of all-time, in any genre.

As an aside, I'm also a hype man for the Lenny Cooke documentary. It's completely under the radar and it's not Hoop Dreams, but it's one of my top basketball recommendations out there. A true taste of 2002-2003 basketball and the trials and tribulations of a then-modern day high school superstar with NBA dreams.

I watched it on a whim back when it first came out, when I thought it was created by just a couple random amateurs. Connected the dots years later and realized it was made by the Safdie brothers (Good Time, Uncut Gems).

Lenny Cooke Documentary is one of my top 3 Sports Docs. From seeing him up there with young Lebron and Melo(who pretty much looked up to him)to seeing him just become a regular dude hanging out around the way was something else.

Used to be able to catch it regularly back in like 2014 but haven’t been able to locate it since.

Edit: Blessed be the Based God, I found it on YouTube:

Ibaka seeking a trade from the Bucks.

I wonder where he'd want to go. He's already won a ring, but perhaps wants to win another on a team where he is actually playing?

Maybe he seeks a deal to be reunited with former teammates?

Lowry in Miami? Go back to Clippers with Kawhi/Powell? What's his relationship with KD, Harden or Westbrook?

Or does he just wind up in some random move to San Antonio or Detroit or somewhere like that (which could work if the move is just to deal him for basically nothing with the other team releasing him and then he just signs wherever).

Can they buy him out? Sixers seems like the place. But they already have 3 bigs. Harrell is playing well. Miami is my pick. Dwayne Redmond (whatever his name is) he hasn't been working out lately. I'm probably wrong

Milwaukee will definitely want to use his salary slot in a trade if they can manage it but it’s not hard to imagine a world where nobody offers anything for him and he gets bought out. I believe he effectively has a no trade clause as well due to how his contract is structured.

I could go on a long rant but I’ve already beat that horse to death. I know my interest in the sport has been declining to the point where I have Soccer as my 2nd favorite sport to watch.

I probably still watch around half of the Bucks games but between the style of play, guys sitting out/just not caring on a consistent basis, the flopping, and the stoppages, it all works to create a pretty difficult product to enjoy.

Soccer has probably become my favorite sport to watch despite not having a favorite team. I know almost exactly how long I’ll be sitting down to watch, teams are generally putting their best foot forward, don’t have to sit through a minute in between plays like football or the constant stoppages in play that other sports have. Even the commentary is better than any other sport IMO.

Lakers acquire Hachimura for Nunn and three 2nds.

Not a bad deal for the Lakers. The three 2nds reminds me of playing 2K.

Even more random when you see the picks lol..

Bulls 2023 second, Lakers 2029 second, and a 2028 swap with Washington. So really only two picks and swap.

Also just saw ESPN gave the Lakers a 'C" and Wizards a "B+" on this trade.. I'm not saying Rui is a homerun, or even makes them much better. But I don't know how anybody who follows basketball could give out those grades..

For one the Lakers only lost one of their own 2nd round picks. They traded their extra 2023 2nd round pick they had from the Bulls, the 2028 is a right to swap, and they traded their own 2029 2nd round pick.

Kenrick Nunn has played awful this year. Of all players who have played at least 500 minutes he's in the bottom 15 in terms of PER. He has negative everything, and when they were healthy he was getting DNPs.

Even if he was playing substantially better than that he'd still be an awful fit for THIS roster. They have Dennis, Pat, Russ, all overlapping as guards, and Bron who works as a PG half his possessions too. Last night they played Nunn, Dennis, and Pat on the floor together. The game before Nunn, Dennis, and Russ.. They have no wing depth. Even if Nunn was twice the player he has been this move still makes sense in terms of position needs.

Nunn likely won't play ahead of Morris, Barton, Wright for Washington. Maybe he turns it around, he had a couple decent games as of late, but Washington traded a lottery pick from 3 years ago for a 10th man and 2 second round picks.

I understand Rui has basically lost his spot there and they likely aren't getting a first with his injuries and lack of development. But this is at BEST a neutral move for them, while at worst a neutral move for the Lakers that fixed a roster hole.

100% irrelevant, it was just laughable how bad this one happened to be.

It’s why you could pick whichever popular NBA YouTube channel and half the top comments are talking about how it ****s on ESPN’s NBA content.
