Yep. The NBA is too much for Billy Donovan. He was a tremendous college basketball coach but it hasn't translated to the association.

        February Games Discussion Thread

Forgot Drummond was on a roster.

If you want him for just rebounding purposes? Sure, why not. Just better hope the rest of the roster is good enough to hide his obvious flaws and can play 4 on 5 on both ends of the ball.

Signed up for that experience last year. It had its moments but I was happy when it ended.

Anyway, good **** Cam and good comeback W. Give me 2 more wins on this homestand and we’ll be in good shape after the ASB. And for a team that’s dealt with a lot of self inflicted mess over the last few months and to still be in this position, credit to JV.

Coach Clap would’ve had this team in the bottom of the standings again like last year.

I agree with Drummond. I've been seeing some Sixers fans clamoring for Drummond. I'm good on that. 95% of the Trez experience has been bad. Drummond would help on rebounding, bigger body on defense, some playmaking ability. But, still is a defensive liability and tries to do too much. And knowing Doc, he'd still play him when things are going obviously wrong

Sixers problem is that they have limited tradeable assets. Thybulle is the best realistic asset and only makes about $4M. Even though he's not playing as much as he probably should, you don't want to trade him for pennies on the dollar. My top 3 backup Center options are Bamba, Vanderbilt, and Noel. Bamba has his flaws and doesn't always play up to his potential, but his skillset would be a fit. Vanderbilt is who some Sixers fans think Paul Reed is. Only issue is that it doesn't really fix the rim protection issues. If this was the Noel of 2-3 years with the Knicks, I would be all in on the move.

Nets will be sitting Kyrie until he's traded!

Magic-Hornets had been back and forth. Is Gary Harris available he's still good. Probably their best shooter.

I think he's been available for a while. I want to say there was a brief talk about being bought out last year while he was hurt. I remember wanting the Sixers to sign him if he got bought out. But, he has been good this year. They're not giving him up unless they get a first or something of value.

Wasn't he labeled as a two way guard in Denver. Even though the Sixers played them the 4 times already, can't remember how well his defense was

Now use those picks and flip Harris, Cam or Seth(at least 2 of those 3) for another player.

This can’t be the only trade Marks does.

Dinwiddie is a good grab for the Nets to stay competitive I just wonder how it all works out for Dallas/Luka.

Also so much for all the articles claiming “this is what the Lakers held their picks for”. Assuming the Lakers didn’t make both firsts available.

Honestly I was hoping he'd go to the Lakers. That was the one that would have annoyed the most people lol.

I can't imagine much. They lost their best perimeter defender. And upgraded their "when Luka goes to the bench". Which means they are leaning in on Josh Green. Changing Spencer for Kyrie isn't much in my opinion. I could be wrong.
