I don’t think they have a shot regardless, but it’s in their best interest to play Denver first round and not after LeBron has played through two playoff series already.

I'd wanted the Pelicans in the playoffs. But it's not looking good here.

I'd wanted the Pelicans in the playoffs. But it's not looking good here.

If they lose they can still beat the winner of the 9/10 game..

But it’s going to look bad if they lose three straight games to basically drop from 6th to out of the playoffs..

This game definitely isn’t over though. They’ll have the young legs in the 4th. Right now it feels like Lakers have half their points from defense collapsing and over-helping on LeBron.. I get it to an extent but I’d rather take my chances of Bron going for 50 than let everyone eat. Especially after all the assists they let him get the other night by doing the same ****.

What’s annoying about the Pelicans is they have the pieces to be good, really good. They have the same capabilities as OKC. I think their biggest issue is CJ, BI, Zion don’t really compliment each other. They are all good players, but it’s just a lot of taking turns. They have most other boxes checked. Size, shooters, depth, defense.. but something just doesn’t click. Idk if that’s on youth, or CJ and BI just being a tier too low to expect much more, or coaching, maybe a small bit of all of that.

Agree with everything you said. I think it's a bit of each thing. When they play defense. They are unstoppable. But it's too much short comings.

That was a great quarter by them. I expected this in the last game when seeding was at hand. But hopefully we get a better game.

Lakers got wayyyy too relaxed with that lead. Thought they were going to coast. Idk how this ends but Pelicans win this game if Zion doesn’t have to leave.
