Wasn't because he can't guard Shaq. It was because he's supposed to be the Defensive player of the year, and he was completely helpless vs. Shaq.

Detroit vs SA. These two teams are so similar. I'd be shocked if Ben is guarding Timmy D. Rasheed Wallace is a great man to man defender and will give TD some problems with his length. Nazr needs to be big on put backs...I also suspect BB will be chasing Rip all over the court.

Again these teams are so similar. Great team defense, intimidating shot blockers, guys with length who can cover different positions. SA has the edge in terms of bench play and they have guys who've been here before, so there's not advantage towards Detroit in terms of experience...Best of all, the games will be one on the court cause the two best coaches will be out there.

If you're trying to say he's not really the DPOTY because he can't guard Shaq, then you're insane. I guess no one should win DPOTY then, since NO ONE can guard Shaq.

Please enlighten me to where I said Ben could stick Shaq. I am very, very interested to see this impersonator of me who said this.

I don't really know what you're getting at...? There are other people who couldd have possibly won the award, but to say Ben is overrated is confusing. You really can't even tell me why he doesn't deserve other than he can't shut down Shaq?

He should at least be able to put up a fight. Lets face it, he was a complete non-factor tonight. Completely outmatched, not even close.

Overrated. Thats my opinion, if you don't like it, not my problem.

I'll say it again, Man 2 man Rasheed > Ben... Ben is a better team defender, the best in the NBA. He's not overrated. Regardless, the PissedOns still won.

I'd say he put up a fight. Shaq played well, but he missed some shots because Ben altered them or stripped him.

He went 12 for 19. Come on.

                              Bottom line for me

The two best teams are in the finals. Really can't complain about that.

So you think Shaq missed 7 shots and none were because of Ben Wallace?
