Please tell me you were high on crack when you wrote this. i might actually have respect for you then as sad as that sounds. The Pistons have the best starting 5 in the NBA(Phoenix can definetely be argued here), and any night any player in their starting 5 can win games for them. KMart couldnt touch Sheed with a 50 foot pole. Camby is good but lacks BW's toughness and heart. Miller is close to Chauncey but the Finals MVP makes your assessment look silly. I dont even know who their 2 guard is. Melo is improved but I will take Tay any day. He has heart, and plays D. Plus his offensive game is improving. Make it to the Finals and you'll see whats up. maybe you will be sober by then.

Exactly. I think what he wanted to say was, "There's not one Denver player I would take over any of the Pistons STarting Five. Not one single player on that Nuggets squad."

Just busting you man. I understand you have to root for your team. I think the Pistons are gonna win the title every year along with the Bears, Cubs, and the Illini. That being said I think p's are going all the way this year. And this time its legit

Aww no hard feelings, but they are not my team.....I just picked them to beat the Pistons. After that first game.......man I dont know

Sober up, your team is NOT good. They have absolutely no shot at getting into the ECF, let alone the finals. They won last year on a fluke, not because they had any talent.

And as for this guy:

The best team wins, that's why they play 7 game series. Using your logic, the Hawks could be the best team in the league, they just played bad ALL year.

Not really. A 7 game series does reduce the chances of someone pulling off an upset, so GENERALLY the best team will advance. But it's never 100%.

LOL, even if you did face the Bulls in the Finals (much as I'd like to see them there, my Bulls ain't makin' it this year), it wouldn't be sweet revenge since MJ, Pip and crew are gone. If that were me, I'd rather beat the same team that beat my team, not some guys that were probably in Elementary School back then.

Air23, obviously it's not 100% revenge seeing as how Jordan, Pippen, and the boys arent there anymore but you get my point. Hey, a Finals win is a Finals win, but first we gotta get there. At this point, I'll play anyone.

Not really. A 7 game series does reduce the chances of someone pulling off an upset, so GENERALLY the best team will advance. But it's never 100%.

Also, a 7 game series really favours the healthiest team.

Case in point being the Indy v Boston series. It's just hard to see Indy winning with Jermaine O'Neal and co. obviously carrying injuries.

To clarify a few posts above...I never said Denver is better than the Spurs. I said that they are in better form, have less injuries and match up very well with them. Combine all three factors...form + injuries and that they match up well...and that's why I think the Nuggets will prevail.

If TD recovers...then that changes.

A full on physical 7 game series is not a good way to work off an ankle injury though. I can tell you that as someone who has torn all the ligaments twice in mine and fractured a foot once. Recovery time is needed with ankle injuries...and he won't get that any time soon.
