Well no surprises in the Suns game. The Suns ran all 48 and the Grizzlies stayed close at points during the game but were outclassed.

I'm rooting for Denver also, it would be a pleasure to dispose of them in the WCF

That's just a horrible first round draw. Denver are NOT a 7th seed. They are probably one of the top 4 teams in the league, have a great coach and more depth than anyone. They also have the best record in the NBA since the all sta break.

Throw in that TD is 80% fiit...and they have Nene, K-Mart and Camby to throw at him...and you can see how bad a match up this is for SA.

I'd have fancied the Spurs if these teams met in the WCF and TD was 100%...but not now.
I'd like to know out of the Suns, Spurs, Mavs, Rockets, Pistons, and Heat, who you think Denver is better than.

The Spurs, Rockets, Pistons, and Mavs.

The Spurs are soft and are completely over-rated, it's a mystery to me how they beat anyone.

The Rockets live and die by T-Mac's shooting, when he has an off night they have no one else that can dominate. Can you ever see Yao dropping 50 points and 30 boards on anyone? No? Neither can I.

The Pistons are a typical eastern conference team, gritty with no real talent on the team. They are team players, but they have no one that can explode when they need it. They don't have one player I'd rather have than someone the Nuggets have.

The Mavericks are the same as the Rockets, they are Dirk's team and when Dirk is shut down they lose.

That's laughable. Needless to point out why.

Yeah, well, we'll see in a few weeks when those pretender assed teams are sitting at home and the nuggets are in the western conference finals.

I'd be shocked to see Denver win this series.

Well, on second half of the season form...all of them except Phoenix.

Folks, these guys are something like 35 and 6 since then.

That's on pace for a Bulls 72-10 like season.

This kind of run simply does NOT happen unless a team is pretty f-ing good.

Nobody is denying they're good, I think they can take the Spurs with a crippled TD. I even think they can make it to the WCF but do I think they're better than the Spurs? NO. They're playing better and they match up well with the Spurs.

The Nuggets are one the premier teams in the league but to it's laughable to discount and knock other teams in order to argue your team is better. If those other teams are that bad, why did the Nuggets look lottery bound during the first half while they were playing the same teams?

Tim Duncan lost that game for the Spurs. He missed too many point blank shots. He needs to get back in shape too.He barely got any lift on those shots.

On the East, I'd want New Jersey to win, Philly to win, Boston to win, and Chicago to win, then I'd want Chicago to win, and Philly to win, and then Chicago.

NBA Finals = I'd want it to be Phoenix v. Chicago so we can get revenge on them from '93!
LOL, even if you did face the Bulls in the Finals (much as I'd like to see them there, my Bulls ain't makin' it this year), it wouldn't be sweet revenge since MJ, Pip and crew are gone. If that were me, I'd rather beat the same team that beat my team, not some guys that were probably in Elementary School back then.

Please tell me you were high on crack when you wrote this. i might actually have respect for you then as sad as that sounds. The Pistons have the best starting 5 in the NBA(Phoenix can definetely be argued here), and any night any player in their starting 5 can win games for them. KMart couldnt touch Sheed with a 50 foot pole. Camby is good but lacks BW's toughness and heart. Miller is close to Chauncey but the Finals MVP makes your assessment look silly. I dont even know who their 2 guard is. Melo is improved but I will take Tay any day. He has heart, and plays D. Plus his offensive game is improving. Make it to the Finals and you'll see whats up. maybe you will be sober by then.
