Yeah, Nocioni was impressive. He played the whole 48 minutes. This series is going to be great.

                    I love this game!

This is the best for NBA heads we get so many games packed into each day. A good question that hasn't been asked is who do you guys WANT to win each series, not who you think is going to win.

                    For me, it's:

Memphis over Phoenix: If we get out of the 1st round, I'd much rather play memphis over the best team in the NBA.

Denver over San Antonio: Same rules apply here. If we get out of round 2 alive (and thats a HUGE if bypassing both Phoenix AND Dallas) I'd like to play Denver since we smashed on them in our last match-up.

Seattle over Sacramento: I really don't care about this matchup, because in my opinion neither one of these teams deserve to make it out of the 1st round (hou-dallas shouldnt be mathed up in round one imo). However I really like Ray Allen so I guess I wanna see Seattle take it.

Houston over Dallas: MY SQUAD! I want T-Mac to get out of the first round, and he really should've this year. Houston is a top 4 team in the West hands down, just happened to match up against one thats top 3! This Rockets team has had a special journey and anyone whos a fan knows this, I dont wanna see them get booted from the 1st even though both teams deserve to advance

Miami over New Jersey: I really like Dwayne Wade (my favorite of the Wade, Melo, Bron trio), and have always liked Shaq. I also honestly want Shaq to prove that he can succeed without #8 (not that he hasn't already). I also like how theres chemistry between Superman and Flash, they're both humble and both sing eachother's praises... no egos.

Philadelphia over Detroit: I like Iverson, so thats one reason, but mostly I don't like the Pistons. I'm from Michigan and can't handle another year of gloating from "fans" who don't even watch basketball.

Indiana over Boston: Indiana is probably my favorite team out east (either ind or mia). Reggie Miller has gone off this season and I'd love to see him continue to put on great performances in his last year in the league. I'm also a fan of JO's game, and am huge Artest fan, so I wanna see them win one for him.

Chicago over Washington: I love the baby bulls cinderella story and I'd hate to see it end with a first round boot. These kids are hungry, so I'll be pulling for them in round one.

                    So far,

Pluses: Denver, Seattle, Houston, Miami, Chicago

                    Minuses: Philadelphia, Indiana

                    In progress: Memphis

I want us to win, Denver to win, Houston to win, and Sacramento to win. After that I want us to win, and Denver to win, because I think Denver would be easiest to beat in the Conference Finals.

On the East, I'd want New Jersey to win, Philly to win, Boston to win, and Chicago to win, then I'd want Chicago to win, and Philly to win, and then Chicago.

NBA Finals = I'd want it to be Phoenix v. Chicago so we can get revenge on them from '93!

Matrix that would be cool. My buddy, a Bulls fan, was drooling over the possibility but it won't happen.

I'm still hoping the Suns take out the best in the East(Miami, Detroit)

I would rather Sacremento beats Denver. Denver has been freakishly good since George Karl came and even though we own them the playoffs could be differnet. They played great defense against the Spurs, and all those bodies in there would really affect Stoudamire.

Gut instinct = the Spurs are going out early.

That's just a horrible first round draw. Denver are NOT a 7th seed. They are probably one of the top 4 teams in the league, have a great coach and more depth than anyone. They also have the best record in the NBA since the all sta break.

Throw in that TD is 80% fiit...and they have Nene, K-Mart and Camby to throw at him...and you can see how bad a match up this is for SA.

I'd have fancied the Spurs if these teams met in the WCF and TD was 100%...but not now.

Denver didn't even throw two of their most physical players at TD, Eddie Najera and Francisco Elson; those boys are BRUISERS, and Tim Duncan looks WEAK. His ankle must be killing him, on some of those layups he was barely getting off the ground. His game is to get high and sky it into the hoop from 10 feet, but he was 0-7 in the 4th quarter inside 8 feet, that's not good Spurs fans.

I was SURPRISED that the Spurs could keep up their pace with us, and how FAST Tony Parker is. Earl Boykins is a SPEEDSER and Tony Parker was step for step with him.

Bad news Spurs fans, almost EVERY nugget had an off night and we beat you by almost 10 points except for Horry's pity 3 at th end.

Wait until Melo, K-Mart, and Camby go off on Wednesday, you had better bring your A game before you get swept out of the playoffs, softies.

Well, we pulled out game 1 tonight. Not the best game I've seen them play, but a win is a win. We need to be able to put teams away, otherwise it'll come back to bite us in the ***.
