If he and Dampier snap out of it, things will do nothing but go up for the mavs.

There's a tonne of pressure on Mac due to the whole "never been past the first round" thing. Unfortunately, that will swell the next few days...and I hope it doesn't break him, because Houston can't win without him playing out of his skin. The last two games, he's had very bad "crunch" time play.

The scary thing is that Dallas hasn't had a bust out game from Dirk and you have to think Dampier will contribute more if he stays out of foul trouble.

Game 5 is huge. Whoever wins it, wins the series IMO.

"isnt it funny the score was the same as last game and around the same time the mavs came back in game 3"....lol...once i heard the commentators say that i was like....here it goes again....the rockets just cant seem to close out the game...mike james wants to do too much..then t-mac wants to suddenly start brickin....its crazy how the ball bounces right into dirks hand and then dirk to terry....then out of nowhere since tracy doesnt wanna pay attention, josh howard deflects the ball off of tracy's wrist...what the hell..all we needed was one home win...just one.......

..i dont wanna get down on the rockets[i will always be a RFFl] but jeff needs to help 'us' in those final two mins. of the game..because playin like this is gonna get us nowhere....as for now we gotta stop the mavs confidence in next game or its over.....

nexts game a must win...go big....or go home..

Here's what Rockets fans didn't realize about Terry.

The guy shot 50% from the FG this year and only Steve Nash shot the ball better from the PG posistion at 51%.

Terry has actually been a silent assasin for Dallas all year but he has played a reduced offensive role because of all the other scorer's Dallas has littered on this roster. Terry is the Mavs best clutch shooter similiar to Nick Van Exel as I've said a few times on this forum. Avery is asking him to distribute the ball more than he ever did in Atlanta but the guy has always been able to flat out score if he has to during games.

Here's a freaky azz stat Terry is shooting 57% in this series and over 50% from 3-pt range. He is abusing the Rockets PG's because none of them are quick enough to play up on him and if they play off he'll go down town.

This Celtics/Pacers series is ridiculous. 3/4 games are blowouts? Wow, this is wacky.

HUGE game by Paul Pierce tonight. He was the mega truth. Best game I've seen out of him in 2 years, bar none, possibly best of his career. Eh, at least top 5. (The comeback game in 2002 playoffs, scoring 46 in 2nd half in 2002, and some others).

          The dynasty will return

Spurs win because the refs were freaking giving them all the calls. Nuggets couldn't sink a free throw for the life of them, and Melo shows how much better Lebron is than he is. You KNOW Lebron is good for 30 points a game in the playoffs, and Melo can barely manage 20, and he is the opposite of clutch. The Nuggets show how BADLY they need a 2, they didn't play a 2 the entire game, they played 2 1s when they wanted to go small, Wesley Person got in zero times and Ginobili got the smacks he deserved at the end of the game, only they should have given those to him in the 2nd quarter because it was cheap at the end.

On the Spurs end, Robert Horry is nails from 3, and Duncan is obviously still really hurt.

Robert Horry hits some clutch shots in the 4th quarter . . . there's a first.

yeah i just watched the game (had to record it) and was not at all amused, it wasnt like i could pick out one thing that killed the pacers (usually poor defensive rebounding, bad point guard play, etc.) they just played subpar defense and didnt make any shots...i knew i should be worried when toine got suspended-he seems to bog down the celts offense at times

I don't know how many people saw the game but Gary Payton did an excellent job guarding Reggie Miller last night. He did by far the best job anyone has this series. I guess a 36 year old man shouldn't have any problems guarding a 39 year old one.

The scarey thing is, Duncan can look like an average player and the Spurs can still whoop up on a team. But I agree that the officiating was horrible!

In fact, I`m sick and tired of poor officiating in the NBA! The star calls and team favoritism is getting REALLY old REALLY quick! Its not much different than watching the WWE....
