Re: The OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread

T-Mac is playing very well and if he keeps this up and his team upsets Dallas he will probably head into next season as the best perimeter player in the west possibly the NBA depending on what happens in the next few games. We know he can't be as bad a gm as kobe.

Also a funny thing about the season was that AI, Chris Webber, Ben Gordon, and T-Mac all averaged more shots per 48 minutes than Kobe. Not trying to start a fight but I find it funny that C-Webb and Ben Gordon were up that far, I thought Kobe or AI would definetely lead that category.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

He may not be in the playoffs, but Kobe still finds a way to get involved.

It has been reported by the Daily News that Kobe will be a studio analyst in one of the next two Heat games on TNT.

"What would the NBA playoffs be without Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal and Phil Jackson as the center of attention? The details hadn't been finalized Monday, but Bryant is being sought by TNT to serve as a studio analyst this week alongside Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith. His words are sure to be closely watched as TNT will broadcast the Miami Heat's next two games."

It was also supposedly confirmed as "official" by AM 570 SoCal Sports Report. I didn't hear anything, but multiple people have.

I don't think Kobe's going to do it, but I have heard that Nike may be pressuring him into doing it to up his rep.

His baseline jumper off the pick and roll is sweet. Good win tonight. I love this team.

The Eastern Conference playoffs are getting boring. They should just give Miami and Detroit an automatic bye or just have them start playing in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Re: The OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread

Chicago and Wash. looks like a pretty good matchup(the first game was pretty exciting). Indiana and Boston could be a good series if they play every game like last night. In the end though it will be Detroit and Miami. Nets and Philly looked so overmatched tonight. Both those series are looking like sweeps and from there, I don't see any teams with enough experience or talent to match them. The Bulls and Wiz are too young. I have Boston beating Indiana in 6. Boston looks to be the only team with enough talent to have a shot at knocking off Detroit or Miami but I still don't see that happening(that team has a great future though. That bench is great and Al Jefferson looks like a future JO on the inside. Even without winning everything this season would still be a success and Rivers may deserve coach of the year just on the strength of managing to control and get the most out of Ricky Davis.) The West has been the most exciting of the two conferences thus far and the playoffs are shaping up just fine in my opinion.

                            LMMFAO!

Bottom line, in the East, it's gonna come down to Miami and Detroit.

                            Period.

Both teams looked damn good tonight.
