Ya got to pick lebron in this case how hard is it to find a player like him 6'8, 7'3 wingspan up to a 40 inch vertical, works on his game alot and he can play like 4 positions he weights 240 pounds it's scary he's a beast, he can also over power many other players and with his length can shoot over opponents. i think wade is a darn good player but i think if a defense were to focus on him or if long players were to guard him we wouldn't be to sucessful. thing bout bron also he can go down a post a point guard if he plays the one wade wont over power no one on the block wit his back turn and doesnt give bad match ups to others and i dont think he makes players better as good as bron does, i would talk butler and odom over z and boose anyday also

I think the one thing Wade does do is make other players better, and I dont think Bron does that, that well. If he did, he probably would have won a few more games...Rather be dead than RED!

Re: Am I the only one who would take Wade over Lebron?
I'm biased towards LeBron, but I love Wades game. IMO, the only things that separate them are:
-Sick, sick passing skills. Not just a willingness to pass...but an ability to thread bounce passes through traffic. IMO, the only comparable passers are Kidd and Nash.
-Size. He's a mismatch for nearly anyone who guards him. 2nd only to Shaq in points in the paint, he can get to the bucket at will, and consistently finish with contact.
Wade has blazing quicks, which to me is his biggest asset, but LeBrons quicks for a 6'8" guy are comparable when you consider how much quicker he is in relation to the bigger guys who have to check him, so IMO, thats a wash. And honestly, Wade hasn't had to face the automatic double-team defense LeBron sees regularly over a full season.
Both are great, great talents...Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

exactly P2k, Lebron hasn't had anyone who could share the load. But Wade is a very good player. The Sports Preacher

Re: Am I the only one who would take Wade over Lebron?
How are you going to take one post out of the thousands that I've had and say that my reading comprehension skills are poor? And last year wasn't that much different anyway. Illgauskaus is average at best and boozer is average.
And Illy and Boozer may have been average, but that's not what mattered...If you compared them to Grant and Odom,it's not even close how much Cleveland's front line was better and Wade still managed to make the playoffs over Lebron.Comment

Re: Am I the only one who would take Wade over Lebron?
I'll take Dwyane Wade with out a doubt. Dwyane Wade managed to get a 6th seed with Brian Grant, Malik Allen, Udonis Haslem, Lamar Odom, Caron Butler, Eddie Jones, and Rafer Alston. Caron was injured for a very good chunk of that year so Malik Allen, Udonis, and Rasual Butler saw alot of minutes. EJ was slightly better last season then this year but thats still not too great and Brian Grant couldnt cut it in the USBL and we all know my feelings on Odom. And also to people who talk about LeBrons stats i think his stats are inflated cause his team absolutley sucks he has to do everything. You know back in 84 Purvis Short averaged 28 5 and 3 and then 25 5 and 4 for 2 really crappy Warrior teams. Michael Adams and Orlando Woolridge (who was far beyond his prime) both averaged over 25 points with Adams having 10.5 assists and Woolridge having almost 7 rebounds a game for a 20 win Nuggets team. It isnt hard to put up gaudy stats on a crappy team.As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"Comment

Re: Am I the only one who would take Wade over Lebron?
Brian Grant should not even be considered as a good backup.Odom is a talented player but he's inconsistent.Boozer gives you 16 pts,10 boards and tough defense.Ilgauskas is one of the better offensive center's in the league...
The fact that you could actually think Grant is better than Booze or Ilgauskas just crushes your argument. We're talking about the Brian Grant of 2005 not the one of 1999...Comment
