Yeah, some of the media has been giving fans crap for us not being super excited about making the postseason. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited but it's been a given for a quite a while now.

I am excited that the last time the Knicks made the post season was 2004, the same year UConn last won a title. Let's GOOOOOOOOO UConn!!!

I'm looking at Toney Douglas because he only seems to play well at MSG.

I'm looking at D'amnphony if he can motivate a team and make adjustments during a game.

Seeding.
Send a message to the rest of the conference.
Not backing into the playoffs.
The other team is riding a losing streak and is at home.

lol. thanks. I knew it was an important game. I just wasn't sure why you called it a playoff game.

Melo hit a big shot at the end, but he definitely doesn't facilitate team basketball late in the game. Player and ball movement stops when he gets the ball and then if the play breaks down its usually a shot clock violation.

When his shot is on though watch out!

Did Billups get hurt? I only saw from mid 3rd quarter on.

Haha, never fails. March Madness ends and coach rumors start swirling.

Now it's Calipari to replace D'Antoni.

I'm not very happy with D'Antoni's stubborness or what appears to be a lack of offensive schemes for his roster, but I do not want Calipari in New York.

Last thing I think the Knicks really need is a coach that is treated bigger than New York. That worked in the Riley days when the guy came with championships. Not today.

With how much heat he brings, I'd LOVE Calipari to be leading the Knicks. The dude is a winner. Would give us even more hate.

Remember, all that hate Riley had translated well to NY. I would see this as being a similar situation. A good coach is a good coach... and Cal is a good coach, better than D'Antoni IMO.

cal is a winner at the college level, that does not equal success at the NBA level. If the Knicks want to go in another direction, I'd rather take a long time NBA assistant from somewhere?
