I am exited to see what they bring to the table. But those of you who think 2K is the holy grail, take a step back because 2K's College Hoops game theis year feels like it was produced by EA with sliders not working, etc. I will remain cautiously optimistic on this one.

If it's in the mode of Ring King with no-name fighters, incredibly dynasty mode and fun/realistic gameplay (no slugfests), I'll definately give it a shot.

Wow, no PS3 version. People aren't going to be happy that there's only a 360 and Wii version.

Why do I have a feeling that if this game is awesome, and sells very well, EA is gonna swipe up another exclusive with a boxing license? People better not let that happen.

Impossible. Even if they grab the IBF, WBC, etc, its not like the boxers names and likenesses are tied to them like football players to the NFL & NFLPA. Each boxer has to be signed independently so EA can go out there and grab the big names one by one, but as long as there is a decent create a boxer, its not going to make much difference to me.

I am very skeptical of this story mode they speak of. I hope you can have a normal career mode and the fights can be chosen by the user. The last thing I want is a canned story mode, with the game ending when I beat my evil mentor for the title.

Hope they do a lot of EA Chicago biting... though i loved the rocky games they made, that was mostly due to my infatuation with the Rocky movies itself...

Well, I'm eager to see what this game looks like and who's in it. Sounds extremely interesting. This was what I expected out of EA with their Fight Night franchise. For some strange reason, they never seemed to try to get it made into reality. I hope there is immeasurable depth to this game.
