You guys think 2ksports paid Don King so that everyone under his umbrella would be in the game?

No rankings in FN3. People were pissed about that.

The hardest thing abou a boxing game is to get the variation in the ring. I mean lets take Pavlick and Taylor. Both are middleweights and both jab and throw hooks. Fight Night got the varying stances down but thats it. Does a Pavlik Jab and a Taylor Jab look the same? Does a Floyd hook he threw on Hatton look like a Frazier hook? There needs to more motion capture animations.

Also, there needs to be a different in hand speed and foot speed. There is always two different speed ratings for each. And there needs to be a power variation for both hands. This would really add to the strategy of the game.

The more i think about it the more it was gameplay that turned me off with fn3. The health system was all wrong, you couldnt knock someone out unless you threw a haymaker, you couldnt daze them off combo's, and everything felt to tight. I dont want to get to excited about this game because were still 4 months from release. There is high hopes.

Wow, the lack of Pretty Boy Floyd is a huge issue for me, and probably a lot of other casual boxing fans who want to buy the game. It's like having Madden without the Patriots.

EDIT: Oops, didn't realize I was reading a wishlist. So only Pavlik is confirmed? Now I'm even more weary.

Good post. I'm tired of boxing games where the fighters power ratings translate for every punch. Look at DLH. He has a tremendous left-hook but his right hand is much weaker. And there are boxers that have very hard uppercuts but soft hooks.

This needs to be looked at in all boxing games.

They arent going to get Floyd for one reason...Money. He asked for too much from EA and thats why he wasnt in FN3. I'd rather have 2k (which has smaller game budgets than EA) use that money on getting 10 lesser known boxers than break the bank trying to pay PBF.

Yeah, as long as they have a decent CAB, I will just make my own boxers. Oh and I hope they will say the boxers real names. That was so stupid in Fight Night having to fight a guy named Thunderfoot or The Assassin. Worse yet, when you nickname your guy the Assassin and he's fighting the Assassin. "The Assassin land a solid blow to the Assassin. A dose of pain to the brain of the Assassin". "The Assassin seems to be hurt." Which Assassin?

^^ Sounds good but unfortunately, I can't remember the last 2K game that had a good CAP system.
