Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Well I have 2 fights under my belt with parker's sliders and toughness at 3 and I have scored 2 KO victories. Still a lil POed cuz I put one guy down 3 times (twice in a rd) and he found a away to get up and almost beat me. I still had to to put him down once more to KO him. I think toughness at 3 may work for me as I have not scored a KO victory since my 2nd fight in my leagacy. I am now 8(4)-4-1Last edited by DiceMan; 07-13-2009, 01:12 PM.PSN: DoubleLGetsBusy

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I've been knocked out in Fight Now with them, yes. But early Legacy was so ridiculously easy that I had to go back to tweaking. I should be able to post them tonight.Recovering slider addict...Fight Night Round 4 caused me to relapse...Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I've created 3 boxers, one of which I've had success w/; my light-heavyweight Johnny West.
My only issue is that it's near impossible for me, at any given point in a match when a TKO isn't in effect, to get up after my 3rd knockdown.
Is there a slider for this?
In a couple cases I've been knocked down when having a fair amount of health/stamina, but the CPU just landed a huge blow on my rather weak chin.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

I've been using these, and love the challenge they've presented.

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I'm using a heavyweight and quickly worked my right hand power up to 80 with your settings. If I miss the zone I quickly jab the hell out of the bag in the correct zone to make sure it doesn't come back towards me. Seems to work every time.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I can understand and agree with alot of the frustration with the pro to champion variation, especially in legacy mode.
I've personally come to terms with the fact that pro gives me the least frustrations, but is a cakewalk the first 15-20 fights. I've been fiddling with sliders today and have decided on these for now:
Rags Legacy Mode sliders - Beta version 0.1:
Difficulty - Pro
Ref Foul AWR - 10
Ref DAM AWR - 10
PWR - 4
SPD - 3
DAM - 8
TGH - 2
OFF AWR - 7
DEF AWR - 10
OUTPUT - 3
These sliders have "drawbacks" in training, where your boxer speed will affect your performance on the double-end bag and his power will make the heavy bag push a challenge. Personally I score contender most of the time, which does net me more points than autotraining, and my chances of champion climbs as my boxers attributes do.
I dont fiddle with sliders for training, and I have auto-save on, so if I BUM training from time to time so be it. Not having to adjust sliders I prefer this minus in training, and it helps keep matches competitive, when your boxer isn't getting the maximum amount every training round.
Give the sliders a try and leave your feedback. I still am not 100% sure on the setting for DAM, OFF AWR, DEF AWR & OUTPUT. Whereas I feel pretty confident that I hit the sweet spot for PWR, SPD and TGH based on previous debate in this thread and personal testing. It isn't how good you are. It's chaos and luck and anyone who thinks differently is a fool.Comment

I'm also using these settings and have o problem with the heavy bag push. I score champion each time.

I would max out both CPU AWR sliders and max damage too, but that's just me.Recovering slider addict...Fight Night Round 4 caused me to relapse...Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Well, I find that legacy starts heating up when you hit top 25 or so. My first 10 fight were all won by a KO between the 2nd and 5th round, but have since then been in the 7th, 6th, 9th, 8th, 4th and then the desicion.
I just had my best fight yet with these sliders with my heavyweight fighter.
I took on the guy ranked 18, while I was ranked 21st. My OVR was 79, his 78. He had a height (6'7" vs my 6'2") and reach advantage (81" vs my 75"). Our puch strength was about the same, but he was faster and had better toughness, with me winning in the blocking and puch accuracy department.
The fight went all 10 rounds, and I won by a 95/94, 95/96, 96/95 split desicion after being outboxed most of the fight. I landed 52% of my punches (392/747) and he 64% (436/681), and the deciding factor was me flooring him once in the 9th round (flash uppercut) and dominating the 10th, but even the commentator has some remark about the result being questionable :-)
Thanks for the feedback, I'll try jacking up the awr and dmg.It isn't how good you are. It's chaos and luck and anyone who thinks differently is a fool.Comment
