The was my fight against Adamek with Calzaghe. Amazingly tense and felt like I could lose it at any time. Never did I feel comfortable or like I was on cruise control. But by the time it went to the cards, it wasn't even close.

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I'm going to wait until September for the patch and DLC to go back to the drawing board on the sliders.
In the meanwhile I'm going to download, edit, and create boxers to fill all my weight classes up with tons of fighters.
See you guys soon!Comment

I wanna play multiple legacies, so I'm gonna keep playing. Also, I'll probably get a few of the accomplishments too, like beating Hatton on Amateur.Recovering slider addict...Fight Night Round 4 caused me to relapse...Comment

Ok, after a couple of edits, here's where I am on GOAT:
Ref - both 10
Power 7
speed 2
Damage 10
tough. 4
CPU AI both 10
Output 0
You really have to be careful, but you can still press your advantage when the other fighter is stunned. I really love the legacy mode on this game. I wish stamina and speed online worked like it did in legacy.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Here's my latest Champion sliders. I don't know if they're as good in Fight Now as my previous set, but they work very good. I've tested them in both Fight Now and Training and they will work. They REALLY emphasize the fighter's strengths and weaknesses.
In training, don't plan on getting Champion all the time on the double-end bag with James Toney and likewise, don't plan on getting Champion all the time on the heavy bag push with Marco Antonio Barrera.
In fights, expect smaller fighters to go the distance while larger fighters will beat each other up worse. Most of all, don't get caught. You will go down.
Difficulty - Champion
Ref Foul AWR - 10
Ref DAM AWR - 10
PWR - 7
SPD - 3
DAM - 10
TGH - 5
CPU Off AWR - 3
CPU Def AWR - 7
Output - 1Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
nahh, maybe we have different approach when playing..
i dont know if this is ridiculous or what but i throw more or less 90 punches per round..(not spam punches)
mostly combinations 2-3 jabs, straight, hooks to the head.. and some counter punches
but i got owned when i changed the difficulty from champion to GOAT. with tyson vs lewis(me) i cant even pass 3 rounds lol..Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Man, I just don't know if I can play Legacy on Champion. I eat so many punches because the blocking is bad and then I get impatient and start eating haymaker counters.Recovering slider addict...Fight Night Round 4 caused me to relapse...Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Ok, Juke, if you want to post these feel free. These are my G.O.A.T. sliders, for right now. I use these in legacy and in fight now. I get more two knockdown fights than four and five. I also get a lot of flash KO's.
Ref sliders - both 10
Power 8
Speed 3
Damage 6
Toughness 5
CPU AI - Both 10

Stick with them man, I think they are near perfection - save the damage which (suprisingly,) I had to turn down.WesmanY2k - Xbox 360

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
The blocking isnt bad, man. You just gotta be patient. I rolled with these tonight for my last manditory defense with Tyson, had to fight Wlad Klitsko... I didn't fight the way I needed to and lost the fight (and tunred off the xbox each time lol, normally don't do that...) 4 times before I finally scored a 5th round KO. I conserved stamina, attacked his boddy, led with a single, double, or even triple jab into the bob & weave move until I got inside and could unload cleanly - then got out when he started countering. I kept this up the entire match - it was hard to stay with the game plan , but it paid off and I eventually won. I fought one more fight as tyson - and met all the criteria for GOAT except win percentage. I was at 85%, and 53 fights in, I knew it would be too much to get to 90%, so I retired. You know that retiring as Ring legend doesnt unlock the champion or superstar achievements... WTF?!?

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Body blocking is tough as hell. I find that if I'm leaning away at a lot of angles and moving the right stick in the direction the punch is coming from that I'm blocking more puches. Seems like I get more chances to counter off blocks as well. I'm using your newest sliders by the way Parker...good job on em my man.PSN: DoubleLGetsBusy
