Since there is nothing that can be done about connect rates, I am testing with the following:
Ref sliders 10
Power 10
Speed 10 (not a typo)
Damage 1
Tough 9
Accuracy 1
Stamina 3
OFF AI 5
Def AI 0
Output 5
Connect rates are same. Would someone test these and give me feedback? These are a lot of fun!Comment

~the same connect % (on Champ) and with 100 stamina you begin to drain after four or five punch combos. The speed really helps on stuns when you get max stamina and you are trying to finish them off/put them down. However, the computer isn't helpless in a stun state, being able to defend a little. Something else I like is it really makes working the body worthwhile. I can't get the punch %'s down, so I am going for gameplay. I will probably take stamina to two and see how that goes. You can't just toss punches constantly and aimlessly and at the same time if you have the advantage you can press it to some degree. One fight in my legacy, my opponent was rearing back to throw a hook while worn down. When his hand was drawn back I hit him SQUARE in the face with a non-counter cross and he went down, one hitter/quitter. I may try these on Pro to see how it does without the perfect block counters, but the CPU utilizes head movement a WHOLE bunch more with speed at ten.Last edited by acts238shaun; 01-29-2010, 10:17 PM.Comment

the latest set is pretty fun
1st fight was Mosely(Me) vs Forrest...outboxed em pretty easily considering the matchup. Took my bars down to about 60% through 9 rounds. Knocked him down 2 times and a 3rd to end it
2nd fight was Tyson(Me) vs Hollyfield. I KTFO in 3...jumping left hook into a mini dempsey roll

Had an epic fight between my Cab self vs Hearns
I was down 4 rounds on all judges scorecards heading into the last round despite he and I trading Knockdowns during the fight and had only 40 secs left and then..........

I'm getting insanely good fights on PRO with the following:
Ref Sliders 10

Toughness 9
Stamina 2
Accuracy 0

DEF AI 10

The CPU utilizes head movement very well and boxes very well, but not mindlessly. With speed at ten getting stunned is a very tough predicament with the 100 percent stamina boost from a stun, both to the CPU and the human player. When you get slow you have to be careful, because because when you are drawing back a punch square to the grill means a flash KD/KO. I get about the usual amount of KD's/KO's, but there are mor of the flash variety, including to the gut.
Working the body is rewarded quite a bit as well and with the difficulty on Pro the perfect block is not as prevalent. I love these. They aren't the most sim, but this game isn't a great sim as far as connect percentages or that gimmicky and stupid perfect block/Parry 2.0. These do well on Champion as well, but I suggest a punch output of 5 and a DEF AI of zero if you like to jab. Let me know what you guys think!

I was just wondering if I use these sliders are you seeing variety in the way you lose if you lose to the computer? It seems like everytime in my legacy if I lose it is always by knockout? I never lose by decision.Comment

i always seem to lose by a late knockout no matter what.. ill be up by 5 or so on the cards and bang.. or sometimes i just get caught real quick. and i don even try to get up after the second time because the effort for doing so is fruitlessComment
