    Well....Let's just say that i need just ALOT more PRACTICE!!!!!
    i went to fight now, chose gatti and (Spell check corralas).
    i lasted a whole 3 rounds rofl! he landed the biggest flury on me and i did everything in my power to block it. Let's just say i went down like a bird with one wing, he stunned me once, i saved myself...barely!! then he proceeded to unload into me like a volcano, got ko'd in the begining of the 3rd round. so basically he knocked me down twice and ko'd me in the 3rd ok now the stats...this outta be good!

    51 out of 119 for corrales, gatti on the other hand 81 out of 111.
    corrals had 41% to the head and 52% to the body.
    gatti had 69% to the head and 85% to the body but yea i had my face pounded senseless in what i thought was a blink of an eye man that was funny....thanks for the fight buddy

      Anything to make the counters the only way to stun someone? Maybe uping the power slider but, I don't want it to make a ko or kd fest.

        Cpu Def Awareness: 5 (if its at ten the cpu focuses on defense to mch and won't throw punches. With 1min rounds, had to adjust.)

        Cpu Punch Output: 10 (YUP! 10! trust me on this, with 1min rounds the punch totals are very very good.)

        I think overall the sliders depend on ur style of fighting. With 2 minute rounds I swung over 800 punches in 10 rounds! I've basically cut that in half with 1 min rounds. If you like to move arond the ring and dance and pick and choose the whole fight, then these sliders prolly wont work with 1 min rounds. I like the idea too cuz I can be done with a fight in a mere 15-20min lol Please try these guys if u want and give feedback. Again, a fight only lasts about 15-20min on average. I've only gone to a decision once and it took like 25min, so it doesn't take long to test and tweak with 1min rounds. Don't knock it till u try it for sure.
        Awesome man, but I am one of those that punches only about 400-500 times in 10 rounds. But I know alot that don't do those.

        I feel challenged by juk34man's set, even on Champion.

        I do agree with you on lowering defensive of awareness. Juk34man's set has too much power to do that, though.

          It won't be a KO fest, I've been playing with 10 power on juk34man's set.

          I got knocked down in a 9th round, stood up and haymakered him and it flash ko'ed him against the CPU.

          But not even haymakers are a sure stun on 10 power. But it makes it more realistic. Pick your shots with the 10 defensive awareness and in real boxing a massive counter would do something.

            i tried those sliders and the same problem exists. this problem is not something that sliders can fix. The gap in power between a counter hook and a regular hook (non-haymaker) is just wayyy too large. I do agree that a counter punch should be more powerful, but as of now it is not balanced in the game.

            No matter how you tinker the power sliders the difference will always be there. For example I tried with power at 10 and toughness at 5, the regular punches can stun sometimes , but a counter punch is gonna stun or KD someone every other time.

            you raise the toughness to 10. Well you will stun someone using the regular punch very rarely but can stun someone using the counter once ever 6 times. Obviously i don't have these numbers but the idea stands. This is a game flaw, and the sooner the devs get hold of it, the better the game will be. Any way we can contact the devs thru here?

                simple question here folks..

                i thought BOXER = your boxer

                CPU = cpu...

                does the BOXER settings affect both human/cpu?

                anyone know??

                it's a simple question but would like a definitive answer :X

                like if i turn BOXER speed max.. does it mean MY BOXER has a speed advantage and not the cpu? or does it affect both?

                  I believe they affect both , accept for cpu only ones:wink:

                    Interestingly enough, I've found that lowering punch output slider to 0 on GOAT is not working.

                    I've seen guys like Arturo Gatti throw almost 100 punches in a 2-minute round.

                        I tried out Juk34man's sliders on Champion with my newly created Welterweight fighter in Legacy Mode, and first thing is the camera view is awesome, it allows me to see the ring better, which leads to my next point, I love the speed slider, the fighters both myself and the CPU feel more fluid, and we get in and out of punches smoothly. I cruised through the amateur tourny. My first pro fight I went the whole 6 rounds and won by a unanimous decision, I lost one round cause I was KD by a right uppercut.

                        The whole amatuer tourny and my first pro fight I felt in control of the fights. The stats were really solid. The CPU wasn't throwing a lot of punches, they pick there shots, and also I think it was do to the speed of my fighter. I was so excited about how fast I could move I never really stopped. I stuck to the outside, jabbed, threw different combos here and there, but it was really fun. There were times though I felt it was too easy to control the fight, and the CPU was really cautious. I faced one guy in the tourny that had good footwork and was cutting off the ring really good,but he wouldn't throw punches. The CPU in pretty much all the fights threw an average amount of punches I believe it was around 32 a round.The highest I believe was 52,which is fine by me. I would have like to see them throw more jabs,but I chalked a lot of things up to the difficulty being on Champion and it being the beginning of my Legacy. I left feeling even more excited about the game then when I first played it. I switched the difficulty to G.O.A.T before I turned it off so when I get home from work and fire it up it will already be set. I'm looking forward to playing it on the original difficulty the sliders were set on. All in all I love the camera view, the speed, it makes the game ten times better. Thanks a million for your efforts Juk34man, great work man. I advise anyone looking for ultimate sim to give these a shot.

                          I just fought an epic battle against Gatti with Corrales. Both fighters were only stunned a couple of times and he knocked me down in the 10th because I was just so drained (still practicing pacing myself).

                          I won the fight 97-92, losing the 5th round on punches and the 10th because of the KD. Otherwise a great fight and about what I think should be expected from this matchup.

                          I need to work some on my defense as he landed 60% of his punches, and I need to raise CPU defense as I landed 48%. He threw 429 punches (PERFECT!) and I threw 755 (a few too many). I was 1/2 on haymakers, he was 0/7 (again, perfect).

                          RDA - 10
                          BP - 5
                          BS - 10

                                All is not lost. I just went the distance as Hearns against Kermit Cintron. Unfortunately he won in a unanimous decision, 99-90. I only won one round. I stunned him several times with the Hit Man's right hand but couldn't ever knock him down.

                                I'm using the same sliders as before, only upped the difficulty to Champion. I'm gonna stay here and try to practice.

                                Fight stats:

                                Me - 50%, him - 65%
                                Me - 689 thrown, him - 592 thrown
                                Me - 1/3 haymakers, him - 6/18 haymakers

                                I really wish this game had buttons, I'm throwing too many hooks when I want to throw jabs. I think that would help alot with my stamina issues. That and just not throwing as many punches. Also, I'm good at defending my head but just SUCK at defending my body. He connected 74% on my body.
