Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Try these out from Benicio.
Champion
10 rounds
2 min
Ref. Foul AWR -------------------10
Ref. DMG AWR -------------------10
Boxer Power ---------------------8
Boxer Speed ---------------------5
Boxer Physical Damage -----------10
Boxer Toughness -----------------2
CPU Offensive Awareness ---------0
CPU Defensive Awareness --------10
CPU Punch Out ------------------0
For the CPU sliders; they'll just defend but won't just flurry all day and won't counter you to death. Try these out and let me know how it works out.Comment

Sounds interesting, I'll give them a shot and post later on.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
the reasoning behind those sliders, as they are heavily influenced by everyones input so far, is that you want to have fear of getting hit with the big punch... so it forces you to play defensively.
in real life punches are stronger than at 5 level and they do more impact to a boxer than on 5 ... so i played with these for 2 days and got to this number...
now my fear is that the higher impact punches will make the stick masher even more effective? if u can counter the masher then you'll hurt him more at the same time.
all i know is, these sliders are more accurate than default, but it only means now we need a stamina and punch accuracy slider even that much more.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
i know wishlists help but so many people are super ambitious on those things and 90% of the things people ask for are unrealistic to patch.
all we are asking for (and i hope i speak for the majority of people in this slider thread) is a stamina slider and a punch accuracy slider, and to tune fatigue up and accuracy down in a patch to also save online play.
do you have direct contact with Brizzo and company? is there a way you can relay this direct message to him and get us a response? Thanks for your passion.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Here are my sliders at pro level. I have finished my last career at 51-0 with 26 KO's. I had a lot of KO's at the beginning of my career but in the middle and latter part, the KO's were not as easy to come by, in fact, it seemed every fight would go the distance and I would win almost every round. When I was about 34-0, I started to mess with sliders. This is what I have come up with. I am happy with them so far. They may need a little work and I'm open to suggestions.
Obviously, a stamina slider would help out a ton to add more realism but until then this is what I have come up with. Damage plays a factor now. I have had fights stopped due to damage which was nice to see. I was also forced to fix my damage (as was the CPU) in the latter rounds leading to less stamina for both sides.
These are designed with Legacy mode in mind.
After that lengthy explanation here they are:
Difficulty: Pro
Length: 3 minute Rounds
Foul Awareness: 10
Damage Awareness: 10
Boxer Power: 6
Boxer Speed: 4
Physical Damage: 6
Toughness: 4
CPU OA: 5
CPU DA: 9
CPU PO: 10Comment

I think it should work well and be more realistic, because not alot of people last after 2 knockdowns.Comment

Stamina slider
punch acc slider
individual punch power slider ( cross, hook, uppercut)
counterpunch power slider.....
that's doable and it will add so much to the game.
thanks for ur attention shakyrComment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Most my fights vs the CPU go the distance.
For now i'm using jukeman's.
I find that per fight between me and the CPU there are 3-4 knockdowns.
That seems like a lot to me.
I'm wondering if i should lower the heart slider or boxer power...Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Benecio,
I tried your sliders and really enjoyed them. Great work on them, pal.
I had Roy Jones Jr. (me) vs. Joe Calzaghe (CPU) bout.
I ended up winning a unanimous decision. But we were both worn down by the 10th. Little over a quarter of stanima and a bit less of health in the end.
Roy Jones Jr. 53.4 punches per round
(Connected %49 of the time)
Joe Calzaghe 54.2 punches per round
(Connected %46 of the time)
Once again, great work on the sliders.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I think I am going to go back to JayBee's Sliders. I have been playing with Ben10's for the past 90 minutes and have been getting handled easily. I think the power is too overwhelming. Maybe setting the power to six would give the power guys the little boost that they need without making them superheroes.Comment
