I'm going 5/2 on Power/Tougness ratio, for the reasons Shaun stated above...

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Yeah, 5/2 really is better as far as knockout/down frequency and how many times the opponent arises. I fought one guy and he was knocked down easily, but it took three times to get it done. Three fights later against Vitali we were fighting a brawl and he went down once, unable to get up. It 5/2 is the best for infight settings. Now when I do the heavy bag push I raise it to ten, but besides that it stays at five.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
OK I'm officially done with UFC 2009 and I'm gonna get back into this game. Jukeman I wanna use your sliders, but for a few of them you have two numbers. For example, you have 10 or 5 for power. Which one should it be? If anyone else knows the answer to this question can you please help.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Anybody want to try some experimental sliders?
I've been playing around with the speed slider - I REALLY don't like it at zero, never did. But it seems since the DLC that if you raise it, punches fly way too fast. There doesn't seem to be a sweet spot anymore.
If anybody is interested in doing some testing, let me know. These are definitely not final, so any input would be appreciated.

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I'll try out the 5/3 and see how it works. As far as zero stamina, I don't know. With thre minute rounds I'd get 20 punches a round tops before I passed out, lol.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I'm working on the ratios between OFF/DEF awareness and speed. I really want to set the speed higher, but they've really screwed it up with the DLC.Recovering slider addict...Fight Night Round 4 caused me to relapse...Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I'm toying zero and so far it actually does ok...it seems to effect punches in succession more than punches thrown per round/fight. I am toying with Reignmakers set and so far I like them except the speed.Comment

And can you post Reignmaker's set? I don't think I've seen it.Recovering slider addict...Fight Night Round 4 caused me to relapse...Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
From EA's boards. I don't like speed at ten, but everything else seems ok. I'm testing these on Champ for now.
Originally posted by Country Boy @ EAI recently, tested and posted my Fight settings for the GOAT using the currently updated sliders from the DLC. If you search boxer share, and look for recent uploads and search for settings you will see mine. I must warn you, this is HARDCORE. It is designed to make "every punch count" missed punches will tire you out, counter chances are small, and if you eat any flush punches you WILL fall.
If not type Reignmaka Sim Settings, and you should find it.
This is only available for Download for the XBOX 360, please download and Rate it for me!!!
Ps3 users must recreate the following.
2 Min Rounds
No 3 KD rule
No S.B.B.
10-12 Rounds
Ref Foul Awr-10
Ref Dmg Awr-10
Boxer Power-10
Boxer Speed-10
Boxer Phys Dmg- 2
Boxer Toughness-7
Boxer Acc-0
Boxer Stamina-0
Counter Window-0
CPU Off Awr- 9*
CPU Def Awr-10*
Punch Output-0
Awareness settings are critical as they determine how the AI approaches the fight, and utilizes their style. Defensive Awareness, makes the aware of the best methods of defense to use that fits their "Boxer style" IE: Outfighter, Slugger. EX. Out fighters with longer reach will use leans, and blocks. Sluggers/Infighters will use more head movement w/ blocks, and bob and weave almost exclusively.
Offensive AWR- Determines how well your CPU opponent "fights their style" When set to high settings the AI will use the best punches in their arsenal depending on their style, they wont throw more punches, but will look to "mount an effective offense" they wont waste punches, outfighters wont slug, infighters wont box, ect.
Dont put this all the way up because it will cause the AI to throw at every "perceived opportune moment" This is critical if you want lower punch numbers, because the fighers are more aggressive offensively at 10.
Boxer Toughness is at 7 so that fighters can suffer from "normal" fatigue and injury over the course of a 10-12 Round fight. The damage is HIGH but the fighters will last longer, if you exercise realistic caution, and fights can still end in One punch....Literally.
Off Awr makes the CPU "make every punch count".
* Rounds are set for 2 Minutes because of CPU Punch Output.Last edited by acts238shaun; 09-08-2009, 03:53 PM.Comment
