Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Referee Foul: (Can pick them up, when committed by boxers)
Referee Awareness: (Awareness of boxer's physical damage)
Boxer Speed: (Pace of boxer movement)
Boxer Power: (Self-explained, strength of punches)
Boxer Toughness: (Taking punches and recovering from knockdowns)
Physical Damage: (Swelling, cuts, bruises. Pertains to the damage bar, in-between rounds.)
Defensive Awareness: (Blocking proficiency)
Offensive Awareness: (Not sure, but I think it pertains for to CPU awareness of offensive, aka counter-punches, etc.)
Punch Output: (Rate of punches per round/fight), maybe people can list what level they play .
great stuffComment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Don't understand why everbody wants to MAX out the SPEED. Default is fine and even playing at 3 out of 10 is feels brisk.
My connect % on G.O.A.T on Juk34man's and my own settings pretty much stay the same at 48%-52% for me and my opponent. My settings:
G.O.A.T.
10 rounds
2mins
save by bell of
knockdown rule off
hud off (on for me)
camera wide
Ref foul- 10, 10
Ref awr- 10, 10
Power- 10, 5
Speed- 10, 5
Damage- 10, 5
Toughness- 10, 5
Off awr- 0, 0
Def awr- 10, 10
Punch output- 0, 0
In two fights on jukman's settings I was Koed in the 6th and 3rd round by Frazier. On my settings Frazier Koed me in the final round. He had a total of 3 knockdowns to 0 for me. I led 85-84 on all three judges scorecards going into the 10th round.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Justused those settings on that difficulty.
Great fight.
Marvin Hagler (me) v. Ray Robinson
Robinson took the first three, and then I took the next four. Robinson ended taking the last three, which was a fluke!
But indeed, 47.6 punches per round for me, 50.1 for Robinson after 10 rounds. We were both smoked towards the end.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Would one of you guys that play one GOAT mind playing me in an online fight. Doesnt have to be ranked. I just cant seem to do anything with the cpu on that level. And I would like to see one of you guys in action that can handle the cpu on that level with these settings.
Maybe im not counter punching enough or something but the cpu on GOAT with these sliders are killing me. I lose either by KO or by decision 4 out of 5 fights. Seems almost like the cpu knows where im about to punch before I punch, also seems like if I just throw a hook in the air the camera will do the counter thing. But the cpu can throw the same hook and there is no counter window. Have any of you experiened this?Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
I've experienced the same thing with the CPU knowing where you're going to punch. I can't seem get my counter punches timed. Seems as soon as I move the joystick, the CPU immediately goes into block mode before my guy even makes a move. Difficulty level is on PRO, too. Maybe it has to do with the CPU Def Awareness?Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Can't wait to get home and try Jaybee's sliders. I have been playing on Champion Difficulty in my Legacy, and even though I have won a few fights, the CPU has been crushing me. I'm still getting the hang of the game controls and getting rid of old FN3 habits, but I'm hearing raves about Jaybee's sliders so I think ill give them a shot.Comment

But in realistic boxing %20-%30, landed hits is realistic. Though it makes it extremely hard to do anything.Comment

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread
Im finally starting to get my timing on Champion
I have worked on/improved my footwork with the double taps and its opening up angles for me finally........
Before It was like hitting a brick wall....and they would just mercilessly walk me down and pound my body...but now Im stopping them as they come in with quick jabs an 1-2s at angles with the side step footwork
I still think the CPU is getting some type of boost in Infighting though on Champion/GOATHere We Go Steelers!!! Here We Go!!!
My CFB Teams: Marshall..WVU-Go Herd/Eeers!!!
