Ward fought last night? Totally missed it. Been so long without a fight worth watching on Saturday night.

      For sure.
I think if he were in the ring with Kovalev on Saturday, he takes his first L (since he was 12!!! Unbelievable).

Ward has stated he wants one more fight at 175 before taking on the champ.

      Meanwhile, in StevesonLand.... *crickets*

I think Fonfara is a Haymon fighter and Jay-Z doesn't work with Haymon.

THIS is why boxing continues to suffer. Specifically the fans.

If boxing had the UFC's structure, the sport would be so much more popular among casual fans.
It'll never change, but imagine how great this sport could be if promoters and corrupt alphabet organizations would get out the way so that the best always fought the best?

Restructuring would be nice. Acting like adults could help too.

all they are doing is hurting the sport more than it already is and making ufc more popular....

The promoters don't care as long as they make money.
If a DLH fighter loses to an Arum fighter, then not only does half the money in that bout get split, but the worth of the DLH fighter has now dropped.

For the promoters to want change, they'd have to make more money than they do now with a UFC-type structure.
                  I don't see that happening.

So really, the only way we can get reform is if the alphabet clowns became dignified, recognized each other's champions and forced the best to fight the best.
Again, not going to happen. Not as long as promoters like DLH, Arum or Haymon continue to pad the wallets of those in charge and dictate the rankings.

I hate to beat a deadhorse, but I'm still very sickened by this Alvarez-Khan bout. It's not even at 160 for crying out loud! And we're supposed to accept that this is a championship bout for the lineal MW crown? A fight at 155 with a JR Welterweight!??!
Haglar would be rolling in his grave if he was dead.

It's worthy to be beaten repeatedly.

How bad is Broner's legal trouble? He could get a couple of years jail time, huh?

OJ got 33 years for armed robbery. And I don't think he ever assaulted the victim like Broner did.
Most likely he serves some time.

In December of last year Jermain Taylor took a plea bargain, including getting the shooting of his cousin reduced to second degree battery. He'll be sentenced on April 19th.

LOL, Adrien gets stripped of his WBA 140 title because he can't make weight...or rather didn't TRY to make weight. He weighed in at 140.4 pounds. With two hours to lose two fifths of a pound he never returned for the "re-weigh in".

Probably was late for a bowling match.
