Is Bradley a counter puncher though? I will admit I haven't watched a lot of his fights. Felt he used his head too much. But I never really thought of him as a counter puncher.

yup....so MP is back....hopefully we could see a Mayweather vs Pacquiao..... or else Mayweather, in spite with his clean slate, will be remembered as the boxer who refuse to fight MP.

Depends on who's camp you are in. Neither side has really pursued this fight seriously yet.

About what i expected, a decision win for pacquiao(although the scorecards shouldn't of been THAT wide, i had it 115-113 pacquiao). I gotta say, i was impressed with bradley to an extent(never been a big fan of him) but he was throwing some bombs and his head movement wasn’t bad(put your damn hands up though). Pacquiao showed some defense himself actually. Bradley was smart to go to the body and be the aggressor(manny can’t really fight as well off the back foot.) but he made 2 big crucial mistakes:
          1. Waiting for pacquiao to throw and trying to rely on catching him with a big right like marquez.
          2. The right that he kept trying to counter manny with was waay to wide and wild. Yeah he had a lot of power on it, but the thing is when marquez knocked manny out he did it with a perfectly timed STRAIGHT punch that manny walked right into.

Either way, both fighters looked good. And i guess i don’t mind bradley now. Oh yeah, what is with hbo and all these damn rematches though? I don’t wanna see pacquiao fight marquez again(seriously that needs to die the last fight was decisive enough anyway) or bradley(they’re already talking about pacquiao bradley 3?). Come on now.

Didn't see this fight last night, by the way.

Pac-Bradley 3 I absolutely have ZERO interest in. I never was a fan of the Pac-Marquez bouts, but with Marquez's sensational KO win in their last (4th!) bout it becomes a little more interesting.

Agreed. Pacquio out-boxed Bradley over 24 rounds already. Bradley should consider himself lucky he got a gift win in the first fight.

I would actually watch a 5th bout against Marquez. Pac was coming on strong the 3 rounds prior to the KO. Some commentators were even wondering when the KO would happen...FOR Manny.

So I'd be willing to watch a 5th fight between the two. This series has been razor thin so far.

Eh, i feel like marquez's KO was a decisive enough win and end to that series. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't take a rematch. I just feel like it's getting old, they need to move on. Tired of rematches.

The KO was decisive, but lets not forget he was also down in the fight. Like it was mentioned earlier Manny was starting to take over the fight. Marquez caught him with a perfect counter right that landed flush. If he misses that punch who knows who that fight ends (outside of Arum that is).

This BS between GBP and TR is ruining so many big fights. They have a opportunity to put boxing back at the forefront. The match ups are endless with those two companies.

Sadly the people with the money don't give two ****s about fight fans and what is right for the sport.

Bradley did exactly what I thought he was going to do. He tried to be a counterpuncher and he never showed he had these abilities.

The first 4 rounds he was loading up on almost every shot he was throwing. He said his balance was off because of the calf injury, but didn't want to use that as a excuse.

I felt bad for him, this was a tough situation. I don't think any fighter should be booed that finishes a fight, or even steps in the ring for that matter.

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (43-1-1, 31KOs) and WBA 'regular' junior middleweight champion Erislandy Lara (19-1-2, 12KOs) have reached an agreement to face each other

Really, really looking forward to this bout. Lara finally getting a big fight.

Colour me impressed. Good on Canelo to take this fight. Lara won't be easy and he's a hard sell. But he's also a top contender who deserved a shot. Saul didn't have to take this bout, but he did.
                              Good on him.

I wonder when Alvarez will join the 160 ranks? That division is really going strong right now. Would love to see Canelo added to the mix.

Yeah, surprised he took it after hearing about how the fight wasn't going to happen.

But who else does he fight at 154? There isn't anybody left. His only option might have been to go up to fight GGG, Stevens, Quillin or even Strum. I don't think he or his team wants to go to the middleweights YET.
