    Re: Boxing Off-Topic

Daniel Jacobs (saw enough fights yesterday that I forgot which one he was doing commentator work on), Quillin, and Lee are all good, immediate possibilities as opponents for Lemieux BEFORE GGG.

As a matter of fact any combination of bouts between any of the above four, including a Qullin-Lee rematch, would be good fights. And then there's pitting GGG against any of them.

Broner needs a role model. He has no clue at all...

It's not what it seems. Broner is at the mob museum. He posted another pic after that one.

I was real happy to see Porter win, he pretty much controlled the fight and that KD was the only bad spot. Broner post fight as usual just doesn't get it, he neither handles Ws or Ls well. Any truth to Floyd looking to fight Berto instead of Khan?

Thank you for clarifying that, in the click-bait media that was all they mentioned.

Looks pretty solid. That's what he told Dan Rafael.

If he wanted to fight berto, i'd say he's earned a soft touch for his last fight. BUT, this is mayweather we're talking about, i'm not sold.I still remember before he fought guerrero he said he almost had the fight signed with devon alexander, then he turned around and fought guerrero.

I actually ran into Broner one day at Tysons Corner mall. He was buying a bunch of shoes in Footlocker for some teenagers that looked to be part of his boxing club. He was EXACTLY like he is on TV, loud as hell and flossing. Real small guy (even for me and I'm only 5'11) but man, his shoulders were so damn wide.

LOL, Adalaide Byrd had the fight 114-112 Porter. Would have been 114-113 Porter if they didn't take a point away from Broner for holding.

She is one of the worst judges in boxing. Has done nothing to dispel that in recent years.

Even so, in the current environment and in the wake of (multiple) recent events, this strikes me as at the very least a bit tone-deaf. But whatever...I'm not outraged or anything. Frankly, it seems right in character for Broner.

He seems to be taking the loss well. Just after the fight he's partying, and Mom comes along for ride.

I think Adrien is trying to sell his rap career. Is he any good?

Classy move by Andre Ward to give back his part of Paul Smith's overweight fine, which is now reported to be $37,500. Andre received a nice $2 million for this fight.

Carl Froch, clearly in retirement mode, called Ward "unbeatable".
