me either...not ppv worthy to me, just my opinion. however, manny looked good with floyd at ringside. rematch brewing, but i just don't see floyd taking the risk against a healthy manny. he ain't getting a mcgregor fight, so.....

I don't think they could generate the kind of money they did in their first fight, which would be Floyd's only motivation.

then again, without canelo-ggg, there could be some interest, but if that fight gets made, forget about it.....

With nine days to go until their fight Ward remains a slight but consistent favorite to beat Kovalez.

Danny Garcia vs huge underdog Samuel Vargas on Spike TV Saturday night.

Luis Ortiz vs huge underdog Malik Scott on HBO Boxing After Dark Saturday Night.

Danny Garcia and Keith Thurman almost came to blows tonight. Within inches of each others face. Spike cut the audio, but the last thing Garcia said to Thurman was "I'm going to **** you up"....Please don't let this fight get derailed. Please.

Damn it I missed it watching Chappelle on snl. I will look for it on YouTube. I know the fight was basically a sparring session

I haven't read recent posts because I've yet to see Garcia-Vargas.

Ortiz-Malik Scott was a terrible fight, mostly because of the latter, but Ortiz was partially responsible.

Danny Garcia is a guy that I always make a point to watch, but that wasn't happening with UFC 205 going down the same night. I love how Thurman gets down also, so I'm definitely down for this one. As a casual boxing fan, this is the type of scrap that will make me tune in.

Garcia is extremely well balanced with good power and a good chin, but I like Thurman in this one. Keith is bigger, stronger, more athletic and went to graduate school against Shawn Porter. The only knock against him is his recent inactivity..injuries aside.

No, it was a sloppy fight with at least a couple of knockdowns called, but they were more about Scott not wanting to take any chance of getting hit again after tasting Ortiz's power. Hard to fault the Cuban too much for not getting an evasive boxer in survival mode out of there but it doesn't advance his standing in the division.

I can't wait for Thurman vs Garcia. Definitely could be a fight of the year candidate. It's also hard to not like Thurman's speed against Garcia. Definitely looking forward to it. On the next note. I would love to see Wilder vs Ortiz. I know it won't be made anytime soon though. Wish I still had fight night to play some match ups lol

I don't think it was close to coming to blows. Maybe a little emotion involved, but that's it.

Vargas has been on my show (Championship Boxing) probably 5 or 6 times over the years, so it was cool seeing him go against one of the very best in the division.

I knew in my heart he would get shut-out though, he's always been a bit awkward and never had 1-punch power. Although he has a good number of stoppages, it was mostly barrages and accumulation.

Thurman vs Garcia I'll be rooting for 1-time! I loved the shouting in the ring, it was real. I recorded it off my tv and put it on facebook - it was pretty intense!

The whole night was - I was watching Raptors, then PBC, then Ortiz while streaming UFC at the same time.

All that and I missed out on Chappelle ... sports overload!

edit - this was a memorable clip from a card a few years back when I had bernstein commentating.

Anyway, he's always been tough, so I knew he wouldn't get KO'd, just like he didn't against future champion (imo) Spence, who when he gets the belt I believe will hang on to and nobody will touch him.
