Got my rankings set up and with some use of a randomizer/method I've come up with for setting up the cards, this will be my UFC 1 card.

Main Card

Middleweight Championship: Luke Rockhold (c) vs #1 Chris Weidman
Flyweight Championship: Demetrious Johnson (c) vs #1 Henry Cejudo
Middleweight bout: #7 Lyoto Machida vs #9 Tim Kennedy
Women's Bantamweight bout: #10 Liz Carmouche vs #12 Raquel Pennington
Heavyweight bout: #14 Matt Mitrione vs #16 Alexey Oleynik
Featherweight bout: #17 Nik Lentz vs #19 Dennis Siver

Under Card

Women's Bantamweight bout: #11 Sarah Kaufman vs #13 Germaine de Randamie
Women's Strawweight bout: #13 Jessica Aguilar vs #15 Felice Herrig

The rankings you have to change manually. Everything else will update automatically when you plug in the Event History

Okay, so to make sure I understand. In order to change the rankings of fighters on the rankings page, I would just copy and paste. So if Ryan bader beats Daniel Cormier, and gets the number one contender spot, I would delete DC and paste RB into that cell, and vise versa with RB and DC? And it wont mess up any formulas?

Second, one more thing, on the upcoming events, I copy and paste names from the roster page onto the Blue/red side of events, correct to add the fighters? Just want to make sure I don't mess up any formulas. Or can I just write names in?

I have a semi-updated spreadsheet with a partial tutorial in Word in the attached folder. I haven't updated the records or rankings after the last PPV and there's still a few things that I want to add. I posted the tutorial last week in another thread and no one commented so I didn't plan on continuing it unless someone else was using it

You do have to have a little knowledge of excel, but nothing too bad. I barely even knew anything about excel when I started using it and was able to use it just fine.

Will you be updating your spreadsheet to have it current and with everyone in it that is in the game such as the changes and additions with Patch 1.02 ?? Looks very interesting.

Will you be updating your spreadsheet to have it current and with everyone in it that is in the game such as the changes and additions with Patch 1.02 ?? Looks very interesting.

I wasn't planning on it, I figured adding the new fighters would give you guys some practice.

I could throw the new fighters in pretty quickly. I probably won't have time to update the rankings/records through UFC 196 so if you want those you could update them yourself. I'm swamped at work right now, but could probably get a file with the new fighters out today... just depending on if anything else comes up.

First fight card finished with Cormier retaining the belt, and Henry Cejudo upsetting Demetrious Johnson for the flyweight belt. Cain Velasquez defeated Ben Rothwell to earn a title shot.

Let's use Women's Strawwight for this example:

- Start with cell A3, hit the left mouse button and drag all of the way to the final cell at the end of the division (it should be cell AA23). All of that data should be highlighted at that point.

- From there Right click, your tool menu will pop up and you simply sort A to Z.

Let's use Women's Strawwight for this example:

- From there Right click, your tool menu will pop up and you simply sort A to Z.

If you use A-Z, it'll rank 1 11 12 13 2 21 22, etc.

You need to highlight divison as Jeremy stated, but do this:

Sort and Filter
Sort BY COLUMN A
Sort On VALUES
Order Custom List... In this you have to go to NEW LIST and type:
1,2,3,4,5,etc up to i did 50 to be safe my rankings won't ever exceed.
After this hit ADD
Select the new custom list and hit ok, then ok again.

IF an error pops up saying contains numbers formatted as text, click sort any thing that looks like a number and hit okay.

All sorted and looking good!
