Just another quick question since I am new to this with Excel, but what do i put on the upcoming events tab under title match if its a title match, do I put a number there or just yes or something ?

Btw I cut a finished event from the upcoming events and pasted it into Event history but it didnt update in the master Tab what am I doing wrong here ?

No problem. I'm just hoping that everyone starts playing like this and people become loud enough to make the devs take notices and add a Universe Mode.... Then we won't have to do this anymore.

Anyway, I have version 1.2 attached.

Changes:
- Added Sage and Jesssica Aguilar
- Moved Myles Jury back to LW and Nik Lentz to Featherweight
- Updated Records through UFC 196
- Made Miesha Tate the WBW Champion
- Added Home State/Country to the Master Tab
- Added a row for Totals at the bottom of the Master Tab that way it's easier to check to see if everything is pulling over correctly.
- Deleted Title match column on the Events History tab
- Corrected Column B on the Title History Page that was formatted as Text rather than General, therefore new Champions weren't being updated properly.

* Rankings weren't really touched other than adding the new fighters and making Tate Champion. Feel free to change those as you see fit.

If you use A-Z, it'll rank 1 11 12 13 2 21 22, etc.

I did exactly as I said and it sorted correctly. It literally took three seconds. Make sure that your formatting is set to General and not Text and you won't have to go through those extra steps.

Just delete the Title Match row. I just highlight the titleholder when I have a title fight so that column is not really needed.

Are you sure you don't have the turned around? I haven't looked on the actual game, but the roster that was released listed him as a LW. He's going to FW in real life and that's where I would like to use him, but as far as I know you can't.

If someone else could verify that would be great. If not, I can check when I get home this afternoon.

In even mode, when selecting a fight, you can change weight class from strict to relaxed? That allows you to put guys in other weight classes.

haha that's so funny because I wanted to use him in a few lightweight matches so I was a little bummed he is restricted to featherweight. I just double checked on mine so it seems you got your wish bro! But let me know if it is just a random error on mine or if you have him there also

Yup. You're right Jury is now at FW. They must have changed him behind the scenes bc he's listed at LW on their website.

They need to make him available at both weight classes since he's fought at both and some are still changing (Lentz is going to LW, Maynard is rumored to be coming back at FW)... or better yet just go ahead and combine FW/LW.

That would explain the problem, it is looking for lettering, not numbering, hence why it shows 1 11 12 13, etc.

I could sort the rankings at work, but trying to do it at home on Excel 2013 it's sorting ALL rows even though I'm only highlighting one division.

Does anyone have any tips for matchmaking or how UFC goes about deciding bouts? I am just a casual fan and with this many fighters, I am having a tough time with matchups for cards.

-Each month I have 2 FN/FOX, and one numbered PPV event. I have a UFC on FOX event only 4 times a year.
-My cards are set up like this, 7 fights for FN/FOX, and 8 for PPV.
-Fighters are suspended for a minimum of 3 months after each fight, If KO/TKO, then they are out for 6 months.
-When deciding the cards,I start at the main event for headlining purposes.

1. I go on random.org, set it from 1 - 10. If I get 1, the main event is in Women's Strawweight, if it is a 10, then the main event is in Heavyweight. (see below for further details)

2. Then I go down to co-main event, random from 1-10, I do this all the way through the card.

3. For the main event, I select the top two available fighters in the division, (champ and #1 contender)
4. for the co main event I select the 3,4 available fighters
5. for the 3rd fight I select the 5,6 available fighters. (If 5,6 are suspended, then choose the next two available fighters)

I do have some rules:
PPV:
-Main events on ppv's can only have title fights from Featherweight to Heavyweight (so 5 - 10 on random.org) So if I get a 2 for the main event on a ppv, then that means I will keep the Womens Bantamweight title fight, and then hit random again until I get a number 5-10 to headline the card. Lets say I get a 6. So that event will have 2 title fights, Lightweight, in addition the the Women's. (ex: UFC 185 http://www.ufc.com/event/UFC185?id=).

-If I get a 5-10 that has the 1,2 fighters suspended, then I re-do random.org until I get a division that has the 1,2 fighters available.

FN:
-For FN, the main event title fights can only be from divisions with #'s from 1-4, not 5-10. Big time weight class title fights are on ppv the majority of the time, that is why I do this.

-If I get a 5-10 for a main event on a FN,OR if the given division #'s top 2 champ is suspended, then there is no title fight. So I choose the 3,4 available fighters in the division as my headliners.

Hope that was clear, I kind of just made it up the past 2 days based on what the ucf has been doing recently. So far I've had 3 amazing cards, it's been fun and interesting. If anything is unclear let me know.

I'll tell you what, I can't wait to see how everyone's universe's will be going. This year will be my first time running a UFC universe as well. I know I have my first card planned out. and it only has seven fights on it, but as the cards go on, they will get bigger, especially after doing more tinkering and getting the hang of doing all of this.

As far as my first card goes it looks like this:

Like I said, this is my first attempt at doing this, and really lurking and reading all you guys is what got me wanting to do this. I do have one question, will you guys be putting up your results here in this thread, making your own, or making a dynasty page? Yeah I now a lot of questions, but hey any help would be awesome! Loo forward to seeing all of your universes!
