Re: #PatchSpoilers
If me wanting to know if a broken AI has been fixed after spending 80 dollars on this game is entitled then I apologize. An AI I might add that was advertised pre release as being much improved.Comment

Re: #PatchSpoilers
It's cool, your suggestion made me think about it.
It really comes down to individual preference.
Here are the reasons I thought a slow reveal might be beneficial:
-build anticipation and increased awareness of the patch details
-increase likelihood of discussion around individual patch note items since the community will have a day with a limited amount of stuff to talk about, as opposed to one big item taking all the attention at once. This is good for everyone.
-it's fun for some people. Like an advent calendar at christmas. Gives you something MMA gaming related to look forward to each day.
I cant imagine the majority preferring the changes being leaked in pieces.Comment

Re: #PatchSpoilers
I DO NOT prefer one by one spoilers. I understand the "getting time to talk about things one at a time", BUT, i want the same, fair amount of time to talk about all patches being implemented.
I don't need days to talk about high/low blocking for liver events, but i'm sure one of the last patch notes would benefit form days, and we will probably get it as the last one.
IMHO, just give a full list and let the community decide what the topic should be.
ALSO, to the people saying he doesn't "Have to" come in here and communicate with us, you're right, BUT that's also bad customer service to purposely be non-communicative when there is a forum to do so. It's bad business and the practice of being secretive about video games should probably stop to be quite honest.
Customer service is number one. Don't try and make the frustration a fun and games thing, people don't want to jump through hoops for information. just give them the information w/out the coyness, they already payed for it.
EDIT: Nobody would accept this type of information release form their mechanic. Just do business as it should be done.
Let's pretend you called your mechanic...
YOU: Hey, have you figured it out yet?
Mech: Yeah, we know what we're going to fix, and we'll do it on Tuesday.
YOU: Awesome, so what are you going to fix?
Mech: Uh... a few things.
YOU: And those things being?
Mech: i don't know, like one of your brake lines was a little loose and stuff.
YOU: Can you just tell me what you're going to fix since you already know full well?
Mech: I just told you about the brake line, why so pushy, friend. Isn't this more fun?
YOU: No, i just want to stop wasting my time on the phone to your shop, giving your shop phone hits every time i call... (I see the business here. slow leak generates hundreds of more clicks to the site per hour)
Mech: Look, call back in a few hours and i'll give you another item we're going to fix...
YOU: I'm calling the better business bureau...
Just because it's video games doesn't mean it isn't bad business to act like clowns. I'm a customer who payed for a broken product, stop jerking me around. If it wasn't broken then why are you fixing it again, and again, and again. That's the reality of it. You think this is fun for people?
I'd return the game if it wasn't past the date of being able to do so. The return dates should restart with every patch on video games since every other business extends their warranties and returns for faulty products that need to be fixed.Last edited by TheLostHighway; 05-08-2016, 06:14 PM.Comment

Re: #PatchSpoilers
One at a time, as early as possible. We'll get the full list when it comes out. I don't see why its even an issue, its so insignificant. When they come out one by one sometimes they elaborate on them if any confusion.Comment

Re: #PatchSpoilers
GPD typically starts giving out spoilers when a patch is a week out. So here is the choice:
GPD continues to release the spoilers slowly to build anticipation.
or
He doesnt and you have to wait until the say of the patch to get patch notes.
I honestly cant think of a AAA sports game that releases patch notes before the day before a patch is to be released. Madden, NBA2k and the Show may sometimes confirm that the patch will be fix a big issue a little bit before release but for the most part they wait until the patch notes are released. GPD does it and he gets clowned and threatened? Really?
So lets say the patch is coming out Saturday (its likely not coming out this day but lets just say.) You guys would rather wait until Saturday to find out whats in the release than find out slowly over the course of a week?Comment
