Re: #PatchSpoilers
I DO NOT prefer one by one spoilers. I understand the "getting time to talk about things one at a time", BUT, i want the same, fair amount of time to talk about all patches being implemented.
I don't need days to talk about high/low blocking for liver events, but i'm sure one of the last patch notes would benefit form days, and we will probably get it as the last one.
IMHO, just give a full list and let the community decide what the topic should be.
ALSO, to the people saying he doesn't "Have to" come in here and communicate with us, you're right, BUT that's also bad customer service to purposely be non-communicative when there is a forum to do so. It's bad business and the practice of being secretive about video games should probably stop to be quite honest.
Customer service is number one. Don't try and make the frustration a fun and games thing, people don't want to jump through hoops for information. just give them the information w/out the coyness, they already payed for it.
EDIT: Nobody would accept this type of information release form their mechanic. Just do business as it should be done.
Let's pretend you called your mechanic...
YOU: Hey, have you figured it out yet?
Mech: Yeah, we know what we're going to fix, and we'll do it on Tuesday.
YOU: Awesome, so what are you going to fix?
Mech: Uh... a few things.
YOU: And those things being?
Mech: i don't know, like one of your brake lines was a little loose and stuff.
YOU: Can you just tell me what you're going to fix since you already know full well?
Mech: I just told you about the brake line, why so pushy, friend. Isn't this more fun?
YOU: No, i just want to stop wasting my time on the phone to your shop, giving your shop phone hits every time i call... (I see the business here. slow leak generates hundreds of more clicks to the site per hour)
Mech: Look, call back in a few hours and i'll give you another item we're going to fix...
YOU: I'm calling the better business bureau...
Just because it's video games doesn't mean it isn't bad business to act like clowns. I'm a customer who payed for a broken product, stop jerking me around. If it wasn't broken then why are you fixing it again, and again, and again. That's the reality of it. You think this is fun for people?
I'd return the game if it wasn't past the date of being able to do so. The return dates should restart with every patch on video games since every other business extends their warranties and returns for faulty products that need to be fixed.
There are a lot of people in that position, and this is something fun for them to look forward to.
If you have issue with fundamental aspects of the gameplay at this point, don't expect any of the patches to all of a sudden make you fall in love with the game.
You might see new features, new fighters, fixes for some imbalances and exploits that are discovered throughout the lifetime of the product, but don't expect the fundamentals to be completely revamped.
A lot of people love the game as is, just want some things tweaked here and there. And we might surprise those people with some fun new additions in the future.
I'm sorry if you're bought the game and don't enjoy it. But it's far from broken.Comment

Re: #PatchSpoilers
Well the AI is unfortunately broken for the majority of us. That's a major game component and I'd assume a major fix. Perhaps I'm reading too much into your response above GPD but I'm skeptical it's getting fixed. I'll wait to see if this patch fixes the AI. If not I'll trade my copy in. It's a shame but I can't wait any longer for a satisfying offline experience.Comment

The AI stopping power issue will likely still remain because that is an across the board issue that needs to be fixed. If stopping power is increased in the game, that will trickle down to the AI.
Finally, I gave Skynet a list of fighters who should never or rarely attempt takedowns. I did the same for submissions. I'm hoping that Skynet implemented these changes for this patch but we will have to wait and see. This should help a little bit with having fighters differentiate from each other. No more Joanna J. attempting takedowns.Comment

Re: #PatchSpoilers
Also curious if stats will get updates, that's small potatoes though.
I personally think the AI is fine and better than ufc 1, but I don't throw tons of jabs or worry about combo multiplier.Comment

Re: #PatchSpoilers
There are a bunch of AI improvements coming, and likely more to come after that.
I believe AI stamina management was one of the focuses. A bunch of other stuff has already been discussed here so i won't go into it all again now.
I have no idea if it will be to your satisfaction or his though.
We'll have to wait and see.Comment

Re: #PatchSpoilers
The Nog fan who posted everywhere will get some of his wishes granted I believe.
Too many other small changes for me to remember in those areas, and I wasn't really involved in any of it, but yes those things are always getting tweaked.Comment
