You can throw a punch/kick as they're coming forward and circle off. Someone backing up doesn't always mean their back is literally touching the fence. As I say, was just an image I had in my head when I read it through, might play out completely differently with all the slips and new movement added.

Now they are forced to engage at least once before circling out.
And circling out puts them in a vulnerable state, and it can be countered.
It might be a frustrating style to beat if someone is good at it, but it's certainly viable to do so.Comment

Are takedowns against the cage in? How about default over/under against the cage.Comment

This is what you do to people that back up, brutalise them! Example starts at 2:32 https://m.youtube.com/watch?t=153s&v=6FBK4fRyisM by the way, how do I upload the video directly onto here without having to click on a link? I'm using an Android Tablet.Comment

Re: UFC 3 - RPM TECH STRIKING DEEP DIVE
Are TDs much harder to defend/ be knocked out of?
And can clinch strikes do more damage/cause rocks and KDs? Just make it so default clinch position is single collar, and so that clinch strikes dont interrupt transitions.
You’d have to really work to maintain dominant clinch position and both sides are at risk to get hurt in single collar/thai clinch.
But amazing job with the stand up. I hope they put you in charge of the clinch/wrestling for the next game.
Or is there any hope we see changes to both with patches?Comment

Yeah but guess what? Its proven to work in real life. Right now woodley is the best in the world. Which is why i have no problem with it working in the game.

What on earth are people going to do without the backdashComment

Re: UFC 3 - RPM TECH STRIKING DEEP DIVE
It should be balanced, from what it reads to me it seems rather balanced but the beta will tell the full story.
Intercepting strikes and vulnerability works both ways. Sprinting aids in catching evasive opponents. I hope we can do shifting strikes while we sprint like T.J. Dillashaw etc.
You should be able to obtain head control/wrist control through pawing like how McGregor, Silva, AJ etc.
Clinch punch health events for realism. Catching punches like UD3 into clinch.
Clinch defense stance like TDD stance.Comment
